@@mylurebox You really need to keep crocs in mind. I’ve walked through swamps that we later saw a 4m croc. And just last week there was a croc in one of my jungle pools, a place I never expected to see one. Be careful and warn the family. 2m+ is a safe distance from the water if you’re paying attention.
@@Andysfishing thanks a lot ;) we were told no problems in this spot but having now toured a while since, I feel exactly the same way. Can’t be too careful. Good to know that distance too. Cheers
Such amazing country mate. I hit a few of em on the way through and this little ripper must have been timed right. A week later and I dunno if it would have been the same. ?
That pretty much sums up landbased creek Barra. Tough water. Trees everywhere. No overhead casts. All roll casts and side arm flicks. 3 to 5 metre casts. Six cranks of the handle and wind in. Falling over logs. Slipping in mud. Watching for crocs. It ain’t easy.
Hey mate, I'm not exactly sure were in the Cape you are but the general assumption is that if there are barra then there are probably crocs. I've seem large lizards in smaller bodies of water.
Thanks Anthony. The scenery here is almost that stunning the rods are a second thought. I could just walk and imagine the fishing in some spots….. then I snap out of it and go get the rod. Hahaa

It’s a real treat to be up here Matty. I’ve dreamt of this place for a long time :)
That intro is so beautiful mate ,I love that sort of stuff and makes me proud to live on the most beautiful place on earth
Stoked you enjoyed it mate. I feel the same way once I see what the drone has captured. It’s incredible eh.
Aussie fish on Aussie made plastics! What an awesome spot John.
Matt they’ve been a go-to of mine for the trip. We’ve had a great run in north QLD with em and they’ve done the trick in NT billabongs too
What a beautiful area mate. Nice to see your search efforts finally get you some nice catches. I also like your set up car topper boat/ trailer. 😃👍🐟🐟
I just love watching the places you can get a cast into, great stuff 👍🏻
Every fisho ever- “I’ll be back in 10” gets back after dark.
Hahaaaa. Spot on ;)
G'day Johno, awesome landscape... it must be Paradise.
Enjoy your trip with your lil family.
Regards from Germany
Lutz

@@mylurebox hi john, yes i do. :o)
Last week i caught a 8 pound Pikeperch...🐟
Good stuff Johnny. Lol I laughed when you said back in 10. I'd be gone for the day
Yea true
Hahaaa. It was a long 10 by the time I got back mate ;) haha
Haha
a sweet light tackle barra creek, stunning.
It was a heap of fun Stephen. Somewhere I won’t forget in a hurry. Timing was the key for those back creeks as they’re dropping all the time
Mate that's epic! You must be frothing hardcore up there. I'm jealous as mate!
It’s been awesome Jon. Some slow days and sessions like anywhere but those days she fires it’s pretty special up here for sure.
wow what a beautiful place to be fishing! blessed
Such amazing landscapes up in NQld. Every day there’s somewhere epic to see up here
Some of that country is freaking amazing.
I thought about a lot of your land based vids as I was walking it Andy ;) it’s not often enough that I get into that kinda stuff. How good is it

Love that you have a pacemaker box from the company I work for. I use them for tackle too
Hahaaa. Mate that’s brilliant ;) fits perfectly under my seat too. Winning !
What a sensational looking spot! Reminds me of the upper Archer during the runoff.

Johnny, you could catch fish in a beer glass. That’s awesome Barra from virtually a trout creek if you were in Victoria. Super cool fishing.
Bloody brilliant
The ol’ I’ll be back in 10 or so…. 2 hours later 😂😂😂

Go to bcf and buy a kiddies rod combo small and bloody brilliant for walking through the scrub small enough you just store it in the car
Love that mate!! That’s the go
Ok. You need to turn around and come pick me up please

How epic is a creek like that. I check out every one we drive over and to see it looking mint then find a few was a real treat

What knot was that ?
I think it’s some kind of simplified perfection loop. Does the trick for me ;)
What creek is that, buddy? Tip top video
Hi! you got good fishing day! keep posting! and Tight Lines!
Thanks for watching. Glad to hear you’re enjoying them mate
Where about
1:50 OK kids, let's set up camp, we won't see Dad for the rest of the day.
Hahaaa. Hard to say 10 minutes knowing it’ll be every bit of at least a halfy if I’m behaving.

Why doesn’t anyone eat anything they catch I don’t understand the point of fishing
