At the same time, considering it was, it still holds up incredibly well. It's not like it looks awful. The people are a bit rough but overall it's still very stylized.
So Hanks did this, forest gump, saving private ryan, a league of their own, apollo 13, that thing you do, Philadelphia the grern mile all in 90s. Fantastic
I love the movie explores the emotional bonds that children form with their playthings, presenting toys not just as inanimate objects, but as beloved companions with their own emotions and adventures.
Toy Story is such an iconic animated franchise with some amazing characters which have become so iconic over the years till this day. The first one is great and I agree with you on the message of friendship which is so key in this film which is what the film’s about as it covers BuzzLightyear(played by Tim Allen) and Woody’s(played by Tom Hanks) relationship. The iconic line “To Infinity And Beyond”. Looking forward to taking this journey with you guys as hopefully you react to the rest of the parts as well. Take care and have a great one y’all
12:19 You want a piece of ME?! 12:54 YOU ARE A TOOOOOYEEEEE!!! 13:01 You are a sad, strange little man. And you have my pity. 21:11 YEARS OF ACADEMY TRAINING WASTED! 28:17 WOODY!!!
Man, I remember when this was the ONLY computer animated movie -- or as we called it back then "3D cartoon". My sister and I almost wore out the VHS cassette replaying this.
Buzz Lightyear is Tim Allen from... Home Improvement & Last Man Standing Two TV comedy series that each ran about 10 years... pretty impressive if you ask me.
John Ratzenberger was the voice of Hamm. He became a good luck charm for Pixar, and had a role in every Pixar movie between 1995 and 2020 (though some of the roles were just a line or two). For example, he was the voice of the Underminer in the Incredibles movies. His most famous non-voice role was of the mailman Cliff Claven in the classic sitcom "Cheers."
I love this movie. When I was a kid I had plastic soldiers and I would hide them in our Christmas tree. When my mom was taking our tree down I always new my mom had found them by yelling my full name across the house 😂.
@@xaviperez26 Conan O'Brien Show he said and got Conan confused and he explained how they fooled everyone into thinking that they went on a spaceship to the moon. NASA means deceive and they are actors. They have their names on a Hollywood Star.
Out of the songs in this movie (before anyone says it, I know there aren't a lot of them), my favorite is "You've Got A Friend In Me" Side note: So many comedy legends/comedic actors in this movie Tom Hanks-Woody (I also love him in the movie Splash, with Daryl Hannah as his mermaid love interest) Tim Allen-Buzz Lightyear (I also love his portrayal of Santa in the Santa Clause movies) Jim Varney-Slinky Dog (RIP) Don Rickles-Mr. Potato Head (RIP) John Ratzenberger-Hamm Wallace Shawn-Rex Annie Potts-Bo Peep (She's also best known as Janine Melnitz in Ghostbusters and as Sheldon Cooper's grandmother in the sitcom Young Sheldon)
Ngl, I was little when I watched this movie and after i watched the movie for the first time. I would always try to catch my toys “coming alive” after I left the room. 🤦🏾♀️
I had a buzz and woody toy and I left them in the car during a grocery store visit, and they both disappeared!!!! Car wasn’t unlocked or broken in, nothing else was stolen from my mom’s vehicle but Woody and Buzz were gone!! From that day on as a kid I thought it was all real
The animation style frozen and those ones have is mainly because of this movie. I think it was the first animated children's movies that ever had this animation style and Steve Jobs played a big role in this as well.
This is a fantastic movie. The first major Pixar film. This was revolutionary in 1995. The Voice of Slinky Dog is the late Jim Varney. If you want to see a great film with him. I recommend a 1993 dramedy called "The Beverly Hillbillies". A great film inspired by the original show. Jim Varney stars as the Patriarch of the Hillbillies. He stars with Lea Thompson and Rob Schneider. A funny film. For Tim Allen, I recommend "The Santa Clause (1994). A great Christmas film. Allen stars with the late Peter Boyle, Wendy Crewson and Judge Reinhold. Finally, I recommend the 1999 comedy, "Galaxy Quest". A great parody of Star Trek. Allen stars with Sigourney Weaver, the late Alan Rickman, Tony Shaloub, Daryl Mitchell and Sam Rockwell. Also by this point Tim Allen was already well known as Tim "The Toolman" Taylor from the 90s sitcom "Home Improvement." A very funny television series. Great Review!
15:56 Thats actually so funny. There is a funny clip where Will Poulter talks about a person thinking that's actually him on the Graham Norton show.. Doesn't sound as funny me just explaining it like that because I can't really remember the story. But if you watch or you've watched the clip you see/know what im talking about..
Good to see that movie again, especially with reactions this time, i have a few tv show suggestions you can try and watch like, gothem, reacher, dexter, twd, barry or/and titans
i constantly forget that this wasnt part of literally everybodys childhood. im not ashamed to say it, but my best friends 4 year old told me she had never seen it or heard of it, and i almost got offended lol.
Fun fact in the game’s amusement parks and the toys it self if you were to buy we’re not the voice of Tom hanks his brother did all that Jim hanks which most people forget
This was 1995 technology. Part 2 was even better, and Part 3 was even better than Part 2. So you have to continue. Part 4 was a little bit of a step down from Part 3, but still incredible. And Part 5 is coming soon. By the way, Sid was also Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy 3. And he plays a critical role as you continue on with the Toy Story movies.
4:02 Did you ever play the Toy Soldiers video game? I think it was on PS1… could’ve been PS2. I remember really liking that game, have a vague memory of whenever you’d use the flame thrower it’d melt them because ya know, they’re little plastic soldiers
So this was the first all computer animated movie. Graphics have come a long way since this.
At the same time, considering it was, it still holds up incredibly well. It's not like it looks awful. The people are a bit rough but overall it's still very stylized.
Being the first, it took over 800,000 hours to render
Still holds up to this day!
I love how Andy's mom changed the posters and style of his room even though they are moving out in a few days.
lol I’ve never thought about that lmaooo
30:57 to 31:00 - You don't know Tim Allen?! All right, that settles it. When December rolls in, y'all gotta watch The Santa Clause.
Or Home Improvement
Galaxy Quest!
Yesssss best Christmas movies
Tim Allen is 71 yo.
Of course they don't know him.
What about Wild Hogs
Wait yall have never seen Toy Story??
Vince saw it as a kid, but that was a long time ago
@@theosebuliba3260ahh ok
They never seen alot of things to be honest.
That’s right. There are people in this world who haven’t experienced life the way you have. Amazing, huh?

The boy off we’re the millers said on an interview a woman came up to him and said he was really good in Toy Story 😂
😂 that cheered me up thanks
Damn lol
She thought the animations would look like Frozen...... Yeah i'm just gonna let it stay there, cause wauw!
Facts she really thought a movie from 95 would look like a movie from 2013 😂
You guys are perfect for each other the way you get to experience classics for the first time together!
Tom Hanks & Tim Allen are phenomenal voice actors 👏🏿.
So Hanks did this, forest gump, saving private ryan, a league of their own, apollo 13, that thing you do, Philadelphia the grern mile all in 90s. Fantastic
And Allen did jungle 2 jungle and the Santa clause lol
You ever seen that movie called Big
I love the movie explores the emotional bonds that children form with their playthings, presenting toys not just as inanimate objects, but as beloved companions with their own emotions and adventures.
This movie is Pixar's first real 3D animated movie😊
Then came bug's life
@@charlesderosas5577 omg yes 😆
The actor who plays buzz lightyear is the iconic Tim Allen Vince and Shoshana .. also I loved watching the buzz lightyear show when I was a kid.
He flashed his penis at Pamela Anderson
The sad thing is that we're all Andys at that period and now Toys are replaced by technologies.
Hard facts 😞

Toy Story 3 is the best, in my opinion.
Then 1 and 2.
4th is quite the same as two last Indiana Jones.
Never have to been realesed.
My Favorite Disney Movie Of All Time!!!!
Technically Disney, but this movie was created by Pixar Animation Studios.Disney just bought them out and stuck their name top opening credits.
1:32 Damn flamed molly lil ass 😂😂😂
6:16 "Have you been replaced" Rex is so funny 😂
I've never thought about Mel Gibson and Tim Allen sounding similar lol. Thanks!
If y’all watch Toy Story 2 watch the credits at the end it’s funny..
Cant wait for Toy Story 2, even better!

Man, I remember when this was the ONLY computer animated movie -- or as we called it back then "3D cartoon". My sister and I almost wore out the VHS cassette replaying this.
Iron giant next !
I find Sid looks like Kenny from We're the Millers in animation form 😂
Buzz losing it during the tea party will never not be funny!
Your both right on Tom Hanks being Woody
1:02 can't stop thinking about (YTP) Strange Things are happening with Andy's Toys 🤣🤣💀
Tim Allen is from the sit com Home Improvement and he played on all The Santa Clause movies etc...
These movies are tearjerkers 🥹
Buzz Lightyear is Tim Allen from...

I saw Toy Story 1 and 2 in theaters and it was a great time to be a kid!
I remember being almost 7 seeing this in theaters. First Pixar movie. Loved it.
At Andy's birthday party all the kids are all copies of Andy
Love yall videos ❤❤❤keeping doing your things
Buzz Lightyear is voiced by Tim Allen. The guy from Home Improvement.
I love this movie. When I was a kid I had plastic soldiers and I would hide them in our Christmas tree. When my mom was taking our tree down I always new my mom had found them by yelling my full name across the house 😂.
Toy story was made in 1995 it was THE FIRST 3D cgi animated movie, that's why its so iconic
This movie is considered to be a milestone in the animation industry, and would be a blueprint for all of Pixar films
The boy from we’re the millers(Will Poulter) got told he looked like sid a lot, so he dressed up as him for halloween back in 2017😂
I grew up on Toy story and never knew it was a mid-90s movie I was probably 1 years old when this came out😂
Did you know that Buzz was named after one of the guys that went by Buzz from the fake moon landing that he even admitted too.
Admitted where?

Once you see that it is Tim Allen as Buzz, the fun detail in the movie is the Binford tool box like in his show Home Improvement.
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
I'm not gonna lie, Sid's lava lamp with the heads is pretty cool
Its amazing how this movie was so good when I was like 7, and I can still legit enjoy it now at 34 lol
Fun fact: Steve Jobs was a part of the Pixar start up that got this movie made
So happy my favorite Toy Story characters are Woody. Jessie and Rex 🤠🎥💚👏🏻
The 90s kid in me is weeping.

The kid from we are the millers dress as the bully from toy story for Halloween
Sid's shirt is NOT "The Punisher" skull because it doesn't look like that at all... this is just a skull.
Oh ur going to have emotional roller-coaster
I think that Scared Straight should still be implemented today.
it would be pretty cool to have a real life pizza planet based off of toy story that same exact look & model 🔥👍

Tim Allen is Buzz
How does ones just watch toy story for the first time
In texas we have Mr. Gattis , its kind of a pizza planet with a pizza buffet 🎉🎉
Frozen’s animation wouldn’t exist without this movie’s animation..

Also, the swirl on his chin is not a beard... it represents his cleft chin.
