Thanks a lot for this insightful video/explanations. I will use this video to show my students why it is important to understand the behavior of charged particles in external fields and why it is important to understand diffusion velocity of different particles (for the bicolor displays).
Great info and good to see another video by Colin! Thanks for explaining the tri-color displays in particular. I've seen 7-color versions out there, I"m assuming they work on the same principal only extrapolated further?
Good video, thanks! Is it possible to shape an EPD with it still working? I have a 2 inch round face that I'd like to vacuum form an EPD around - the face is only 1/4" tall. Do you think this is possible? -Frank
Wow, Collin's Lab! His old basic electronics videos really had a huge impact on my life.
which ones, please send me link
Oh God.. I was watching him almost 10 years ago... Nice to see him back
Collin's lab enjoyed it as a college student & I still enjoy them as a engineer.
Great to see Collin is back!!!! I have missed him!
YES!!!!. Colins lab! It MUST be Christmas. 👌🎇🎆🎇✨🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅🎅
A great explanation, easy rhythm and an excellent narrator. Thanks Collin!
Another masterfully executed presentation, thanks and happy holidays.
Wait, Collin's Lab?
Christmas' arrives early this year!
Collin is back? Or was he already back 😊
Definitely one of the most instructive videos on e-ink displays! Thank you very much.
So great you took it apart! Cheers.
Makes me feel 10 again! Started watching Collins lab like 9 years ago or something.
Collin. Good to see you back. More videos please.
u have been away for much too long! totally enjoyed this.. MORE pls
I'm a simple fish. I see a Collin video, hear a Collin voice, and I am happy, and generally learn things.
Never thought I'd see another Collin's Lab

This display technology is so awesome. The display looks so natural it's like reading a newspaper or a page from a book.
Great overview video. I was looking for displays like this a year or so ago and the ones in your store look great!
I was 11 when I first watched Collins lab on Make. I had no idea he got involved with another channel. This is great 🤙🤘
Awesome video. This kind of content is why I subscribed to adafruit.
Such a. Valuable resource. Thank you Collin

Great! Keep these Collin's Lab videos coming :-)
Collin's Lab!?! A solstice miracle!!!
Great video. I've been meaning to learn more about how eink devices work.
Very thanks for disassembling , i have never seen it before in any other videos 6:56
Reminds me of Charles and Ray Eames films. Nicely done.
More Collins Lan, and love your music.
The ending is like a being trapped in an Etch-A-Sketch beholding the outside world for the first time.
Has Collin's lab been collected into a playlist? That would almost be as super as the videos :)
I have one, broken blurred . I wonder if there is posibility to conect this to eg. esp32 by i2c and format it repair positions of metalic pigment
I have a question: if you remove the edges of the display will it still work?
The only times I've watched this or the old Make channel is when Collin is in the video, and It's been like that since at least 11 years ago.
Very informative, Thank You!
NICE video. Really helpful. Reminds me of my Dasung eink monitor :)
Great explanation! Too bad the "music" almost drove me batty. Why do so many video creators think an additional audio track improves the presentation?
The pattern at 3:34 is the shape of the pigments?
Why doesn't my nook or kindle refresh like this?
