You need to implement PC and MIDI note commands too, and a Live view mode!, also, multiple parameters assigned to the SAME CC,PC or MIDI note, restricting parameters to a single units like you're doing now is useless and that's why nobody uses this software LIVE, you're missing a great opportunity for this to become a standard iOS guitar software for LIVE use just because the bad MIDI implementation, the sounds are great but the control options are AWFUL!
Now Im using TH-U live. I use the IOS version of TH-U connected to XSonic XTone Pro which itself is connected to an FRFR Amp. On the other hand, TH-U is missing an essential feature to really play live: the "Live View" like Bias FX 2! Why? Because TH-U midi settings are limited to Next/Previous Bank, Next/Previous Preset So imagine that you have on Preset 1 a clean sound, then on preset 2 a crunch sound then on preset 3 a lead sound then you have to use Next/Previous Preset to jump from preset 1 to preset 3, so two clicks on the footswiches of your Midi controller... ! You realize that it is impossible to do this manipulation while in live situation... Yes, the scenes can have independent MIDI controls, but in my example, the scenes are not usable because it is not possible to have different amps(a clean amp, a crunch amp and a lead amp) in each scene Unless I'm mistaken, the same mode of operation that BIAS FX 2 offers is not possible on TH-U and it's a great, great pity... Is an evolution like Live View possible?
So you have the xtone pro working with iOS TH-U? It works as an audio interface but I can’t get it to map the th-u pedals to the xtone footswitches. Any tips or was it really simple for you?
Hi, just a question. Do it make sense to try to use Overloud THU as rig for live performance using a midi pedalboard to change effects and patches? Thansk in advance.
@@overloudaudiotools It does not work proper with my Irig blueboard and Ipad 2017. The app crashes some time when try to midi learn, and scenes does not switch
@@mjusick42 Hi, I have just started playing with the IOS version of THU. I connected my midi pedal board to my iPad but I couldn't get THU to change patches when I pressed on different midi footswitches (that generated Program Change). Am I missing something obvious?

How do you control the rig player cabinets presets to switch to the previous or next? I can’t find any information on how to do this with midi on iOS.

No PC (Program Change)? 😐
Yes, you can change the presets via program change, that's the standard setting (which I don't think you can change like with the desktop version).
