Hello from Wisconsin USA. If you’re looking for a Chartreuse colored plant try Lady’s Mantle (alchemilla-mollis) . Here in the states it grows well. It’s gets sprays of chartreuse colored flowers in late spring.

Hello Marta! I love your video and channel. Such good quality. I live in Illinois a suburb of Chicago. My favorite heuchera is Carmel. Just planted a ‘lemon love’ heuchera in my garden today. I have a quick fire hydrangea in a pot and thrives every year even after our very cold winters. This is the 3 year in the pot. It sits next to our garage wall so has some protection from the cold.

I love your gardens and this spot in front of your "garage" especially. Container gardening is my favorite and I love to do groupings of trees, shrubs and color as you have done. We are in the Southwest corner of Washington state right on the border with Oregon. I haven't done much with annuals yet as I'm waiting to go to my favorite nursery on a road trip we are taking next month. The nursery carries a lot of Proven Winners plants that we love!

Hi Marta, I'm from the Pacific NW, Washington state , in the US. I spend time near Portland, Oregon (tending to my mom's garden) and Seattle, WA (where I tend to my friends' gardens). I love the rain (helps me keep trees and shrubs green and helps with new annual plantings), and the secret hot summers (anything over 80 degrees Fahrenheit is considered hot for Pac NW natives 😅😁). The azaleas are done blooming, and the weigela are almost done. The lavenders are starting to grow tall with buds, and all annuals are just starting to put on growth. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hi Marta, I'm in Manitoba, Canada. This area in front of your garage looks so peaceful! The only thing growing so far is the garlic I started last fall. With our weather here we can't pot up pots until first week of June. I love hostas but I have so many deer where I live so I am going to try putting them in pots on my deck and then I'll overwinter them in the ground as we have -40c temps in January and they won't survive in the pot. I hope it works to dig them out every spring!

Greeting' from Ireland, I have over Fifty containers of perennials in my small front garden plus nine pots of annuals. I have collected pots over the last ten years and swear I'm not going to buy any more but then in early May I see nice pot's and I add them to my collection. But this year I have decided enough is enough and avoided the temptation.

Hi Martha, thank you for another lovely video! I am a balcony gardener from Romania, zone 6b, east facing balcony, obsessed with plants. The cupressus and the ivys are staying out in winter too (and a small japanese maple I bought recently will stay too), the other plants I overwinter in the staircase: geraniums, canna lilies, hydrangeas, asclepius curassavica,( this year I experiment with dahlias and gladiolas) , fatsia japonica, crizantemum and spring bulbs , solanum pseudocapsicum , plumbago auriculata . Because my balcony is small, I keep some of them in the staircase and bring them out in rotation or when they have buds. I have a question for you: Do you protect the hydrangea pots in the winter? I might try to overwinter the hydrangeas and the crisanthemum on the balcony too, because it is gonna be too crowded in the staircase (0-10 grad Celsius in winter)
