I didn’t pay much attention to roses until I saw your garden. This Spring I bought 6 and am enjoying them so much. I will continue to add more each year. Your roses are very beautiful, I can smell them in my mind. 😊
I have too much shade for roses but I still try them just to enjoy their smell and beauty. There is a lady in Connecticut, USA, on RUclips who also loves roses. She came here from Ukraine and her name is Olga Carmody. I think you and she should be friends!
Hi Marta from Kansas City. Your garden has been an inspiration for me. And your English is amazing!! I had been wanting to add roses in the beds I was creating. I planted 25 David Austin Roses this spring. Almost all had a great first flush for only being in the ground a few months. So early this year. Boscobel and Princes Alexandra of Kent smelled the best. I agree with scent and memory. For me it is Iris that takes me back to my grandmother’s garden and makes my heart smile. Take care
I agree with you, Marta! Every rose is beautiful in its own way. As well as our children. However, there are those with beautiful scent. In may garden this is Double Delight and Jacques Cartier. The healthiest rose is Marie Curie and she hase the most lush bloom and refined scent. The most beautiful flower shape has the Queen of Shweden. Just my opinion. I only have 29 roses. Greetings from Zagreb!🌹
Hi Martha! Your garden is gorgeous! My memory is a scent of Rosa glauca in my grandmother’s garden in Ukraine. Now I live in Cleveland US. I started from Bonica and ground cover roses. And as my confidence groves I grow David Austin roses now. I found that Kordes roses are doing better in our climate, specifically the blooms are staying much longer than on DA roses. I have two Polka roses with ruffle apricot petals. This is a small climber, good for pegging. I let the canes arch and they look amazing, very healthy rose. I am alway looking forward for your new videos! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise❤️
I am rewatching your rose garden, i love it so much! The rose outside your bedroom, can you share what it is. I love your style. By the way, my polish grandma was from your area and she loved her garden. What a green thumb she had. I am 72 and we are creating our dream rose garden.
I love the slow view of the flowers with the music. I could watch that all day. Thank you for a new video! I come back just to check if theres a new video, thank you!!! dyakuyu from Ukraine!
Gorgeous garden and plant combinations! My favorites now are Generous Gardener for health and flower power, James Galway for beauty, and Princess Alexandra of Kent for flower size.
U nas w New Jersey wszystkie róże zakwitły bardzo szybko w tym roku i już przekwitły. Były ogromne i były piękne. W tym roku mieliśmy plage gąsienic, które potem wyrosną w ogromne ćmy. Wybierałam wszystkie które widziałam, ale zjadły mnóstwo lisci. Mam nadzieję, że róże odbiją mimo braku liści.
Thank you for this beautiful insight! Although my roses can’t do best due to suboptimal sun exposure (I‘d rather have your birches instead of my oak 😅), I still am amazed how well they do. I also only have about 25 different varieties of roses, many of them also David Austin roses, from which my favorite would be Lady Emma Hamilton mostly because of the incredible scent. But overall I find Anna Purna the most exquisite rose with best scent, elegant flowers and pretty foliage - even though not the easiest to grow. Many greetings from Nuremberg/ Germany
Hello Marta👋🏼 How did you learn to speak English so beautifully with such an accent? I'm from Poland, I watch your videos because I love the garden and now I'm going to learn English thanks to them ❤❤
I really love Rosa Rugosa varieties, because in Germany they are often used as a border at coastal areas and they remind me of family holidays. And I really love my Rose de Resht Rose, it often blooms until November and smells amazing.
So beautiful. I don’t have any flower scents from my childhood, though mum grew red salvias at one time. She was not a gardener. I planted some roses into my new garden a couple of years ago and they have done nothing. It’s currently winter here in Australia and I was going to try moving them but maybe they just need more time.
Hi Marta! Really enjoyed your videos and learning at lot from you. I have a question. Is your garden fully installed with drip irrigation and do you recommend it if you do have an irrigation system installed.
Hi Marta, thank you for sharing your beautiful garden. How do you keep your Angela small? Do you just prune them heavily? Wouldn't you lose a lot of flowers though given that its a climber? Thank you.
I so wish i could grow roses but my deer friends would eat them all.The floral scent that triggers a memory for me is lily of the valley as my grandmother used to wear this scent, it actually made me tear up thinking of this.
no ,both my grandmas never had roses on their garden so I don't have any memories 😅😂 but yeah I'm the first to take liking of the roses, I think they're incredible ,it's like collecting pokemon 😂 u know with all the IDs
Beautiful roses! Do you have rose sawflies in your area?? I have 3 David Austen roses, but I am constantly fighting these sawflies that are eating all the leaves.
Люблю Ваш сад ,благодарю за чудесные видео

Love Olga's garden and her personality x
Olga seems nice at first but she will hit on your man. Or so I've heard.
If you have shade go for Hydrangea macrophylla. I have a lot of shade and my hydrangeas are so beautiful
I love Olga's videos!❤
@@ksionc100wow, this is a very inflammatory comment! Not nice at all, I’m afraid.
Beautiful garden..relaxing to watch . and fantastic video

David Austin roses. They bloom continuously, have amazing scent, and look like old English roses.
Please do a indoor home tour one day
Beautiful! What kind of roses you mostly have? Are they bush or park roses? Or floribunt? I want to copy.😊

Hi Marta! What are the pale purple/lavender colored roses? I’ve never seen them before! Thank you
Lavender Flower Circus
what brand rose fertilizer you, where to buy from?
Hi, Marta! Are your roses in dappled shade?
Hello Martha!I have a question: Which roses are best to grow in a very cold and snowing state? Can you tell me a name, Roses .Thank you
Hi Marta, which penstemon is that?
Don’t know the variety unfortunately
Roses are beautiful but their foliage is highly troublesome.
