Ok, the TMO indicator looks good, but honestly I couldn't get it to work with the divergences. Using it alone gives better results. Used EUR/USD 15min. Thanks.

I understand we take the first buy/sell signal but anyone knows if the LuxAlgo divergences recalculate their position.
If yes does the tradingview replay shows this?
If it doesn't show recalculation then the backtest in replay is invalid
The replay function shows repainting indicators as if they were live. I tested another lux and replay worked fine

@@markpickering7993 im back testing it using support and resistance as take profit and am winning over 70% with it
I always do a quick eyeball test before committing to any rigorous backtesting. I scanned over the past few weeks of price data on BTCUSDT (15min) - only a couple of valid entries and both were losers. I briefly checked the 5min chart as well. Buy/sell signals from oscillator are not well-aligned with moving average extremities (sell signals almost always with bullish green MA). Can't imagine it'd be much different on other pairs given the timeframes. I won't be looking into this any further. Like the idea in principle - perhaps the settings need to be changed.

@@coopsvibing1375 @Callan Guys are you seriously? It's clear that guy promotes manual backtesting platform or whatever else. You shouldn't expect that someone will share with you awesome working strategies which will be money making machine for you, especially for someone who tests only the last 100 trades in manual mode)))) I coded few of his strategies and all sucks in long-term at least as they were showed. It's just some type of cherrypicking.
BUT
This channel and information here have useful part because you can pick up the core logic and move forward and improve it by yourself. From this point of view - this is not bad channel :) Also, for example, i use this channel from time to time to explore some interesting indicators from trading view. Platform sucks from algorithmic trading point but it has huge base of open-source indicators which could be converted to more suitable for algorithmic trading platforms like metatrader5 or ninjatrader8.
So improve you critical thinking and get the best you can from all information around :)

It's really quite simple. It's our behaviour that fuck it up. You get rich slowly, spend less than you earn insure against disasters and invest wisely if you don't know how it's good to seek expert mentorship or you can just buy and hold an index fund every month and do nothing

Y'all be saying trash in here. Before you kick against a strategy backtest it yourselves dollop heads. This strategy works better on XAUUSD, GBPJPY and EURUSD. Stop calling it fake cause I've backtested it and it's great. When backtesting follow the market trend cause you all ain't stupid or daft.
I back tested it on gbpusd and only got as far as 20 trades with 11 losers and 3 break even best win was 1:2.53 can't see how This could be good on any other pair with the results I seen
Luxalgo indicators are over rated and over priced. There are free indicators that can do this job. Stop promoting for financial gains.
These are all free indicators we released on TradingView, he's not promoting our premium indicators.

I love the grounded reality of this channel…It is all well and good but I find it truly baffling that all major crypto RUclipsrs just look at pure trades and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumping and why the future outlook might not be as rosy as it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps, narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market. This is the worst possible time in history to invest as so many don't back up their crypto assets.

U have to remember, he doesnt care, he takes strategy, makes a video, good or bad, he cares about views. Thats it, thats why he creates so many useless videos. And yes I tested it, he cherrypicks good trades, but try and see its horrible.

@@markpickering7993 no recommendations really. You can watch 100s of videos but they will not work. Its supposed to make money for youtubers from these videos. they dont care about rest. So my advise would be dont follow these videos blindly
