ALWAYS Ask These Questions BEFORE You Estimate Corporate Photography Jobs

When potential clients ask me for an estimate, I always ask these two questions before I start working on the estimate. These questions have saved me countless hours and helped me identify which clients are sincere about their requests and which clients are just fishing for estimates as part of a triple-bidding process.

On another topic, would you mind doing a video about getting work with an agency? I’ve worked with agents in other industries (as a performer) but not as a photographer. I’m considering if it’s worth my time to research and get in touch with some. And then… what I should be prepared to approach them with…? No

Great video Kevin. One question I would add is, What is your criteria for choosing a photographer? Is it based on portfolio, cost, a combination… I’ve run into situations where people are basically looking for the absolute cheapest possible photographer and similarly, there’s no point in even bidding.
