Second day home from the hospital after my first and hopefully last overdose on Roxy 30s with fentanyl, thanks so much for these narrations. I don't know where to start in terms of self help but found these and am still looking for a big book equivalent for NA
suggestions -get a sponsor -work & live the 12 steps of NA -a meeting a day for the first 90 days -change playmates, playthings, & playgrounds. -don't quit 5 min before the miracle happens. -don't use no matter what. virtual-na.org for online meetings and to find a sponsor. I remind myself to "chance my recovery like I chanced my drug".
Zoom meetings too!! Virtual-NA.org I think and also NA.org! Search for “espresso lounge “ that’s my group. 24/7 meetings have kept me clean for going on 11 months! Glad you made it out alive, buddy!!
The only ones I see that thinks it is a cultist are people like you that never did the program as suggested. If believing in yourself was enough why are you listening to these steps

Why don't you work the program as it is laid out. You will continue to fight an unwinnable battle unless you do. There are no shortcuts
