The biggest issues I had with other cases was dust buildup. This case I literally only need to clean once every year or 2 at times...the dust is hardly there compared to my lian li and other cases from the past. Airflow and case temps are really good as my cpu never goes past 60 and its overclocked...Was going to grab this newer case but the tinted window ruins it for me...I like having a clear window. Maybe they will allow for a clear window version in the future? I like to be able to see everything in the PC with all the RGB stuff.
@@peterc504 It just looks like with he class panel you would only have like 1/2 an inch of breathing room on the left and right sides of the glass. I don't look too bad but corsair never really pays a lot of attention to airflow and goes for looks instead.

I got mine a few weeks ago and love it, everything runs cooler now with x5 120mm fans, excellent cable management plenty of room for it all, not a bad price for it either

@@CBGENESIS Chances are (at least the tempered glass front panel version) will have restricted airflow and the vertical GPU mounting method pushes the GPU too close to the side panel.
Have to give it to Corsair, they really know how to advertise their stuff. Really like their cases, the only things I don't like are that they don't give enough room at the top and the front/top filters are not removable, which makes them really annoying to clean.

I have the 220t tempered glass and prefer it. More compact, the front looks better. Sure there are some improvements with the 4000X which are nice as well.
I dont know is 100$ too much for 3rgb fans, actually a solid case with clean looks for cable management, vertical mounting option for gpu and pretty good starting point for watercooled builds.

its all personal preference tbh , if you want a sleek minimalist looking case nzxt , if you want rgb and little airflow balance corsair they make the best looking cases , if u want performance its phanteks and cooler master full mesh cases

vertical mount gpu is pretty much a no-go. it was so close to the window and couldn't pull in enough air. they also tested the temps and in that one configuration, they were nearly 25 degrees hotter, in the 80s!
eww the 500d se is ugly...I got a 450d and they are still the best looking..These newer 4000s are nice but the tinted glass sucks and having your usb on top sucks as well
Great case, I have two questions for corsair: 1. Does a 240mm AIO fit on top with tall ram (like the Vengeance RGB kits) or is there no clearance like in the Crystal 460x case? 2. Price
the problem i had building someone with icue 220t was the little space between PSU and HD/SSD caddy, sure its adjustable with a couple of screws but should have used the slide/lock mechanism instead. I suggest getting maybe at least a 100mm PSU length for some good cable management in between.
hehe i have the 450d still. I dont know why but the 900d has no front mesh panel? My 450d the front panel is aluminum like the 900d but it has circles cut out all over with tiny mesh holes to allow the intake fans to pull in fresh air. Not sure why they sealed this off on the 900d as it cannot get any airflow from the front
i have this case, but i haven't no clue how to clean the frontal in take, can be the frontal side be unattached someway? so i can clean properly the dust filter and the fans
The 200R case needs to be updated with PWM fans, USB C up front, more access to CPU power plugs and maybe a lower shroud. Great case but it is dated. Top and side door vents need to have an option to cover them for those who don't need them or offer the case without vents. Most hardware today doesn't require as much air flow as in the past.
Can you just please, release an updated A540 with tempered glass panels or better yet, make a darn 680x case with a quick removal of the front glass panel (Holds out check book)... I don't like power shrouds in my main case area, and I love having all the extra area for easy install, cable management and endless add on peripherals and drives.
Get this, buy the airflow version front panel, mod in a better vertical GPU riser and it’s gold. I don’t like the front portion of the cable channeling system though.
They need to do what Cooler Master did with the Masterbox MB311L and the MB320L . One came with tempered glass front the other came with full mesh. Give us options other than colors.

The front fans are usually intake fans, so their open-side is usually facing the outside of the case, with the backside facing the inside of the case. All fans will perform differently, at different RPM (speed) and different decibels (noise). It's best to look up fan comparisons to inform your purchasing decision. The best aspect to look for is a fan that cools efficiently, while also being quiet. There are generally two types of fans. Airflow and Static Pressure. Static Pressure fans exert more pressure on air, allowing them to suck in air with more force and push it out with more force (making them good for mounting on constricted radiators). But airflow fans can move more air, more quickly. Static Pressure fans also suck and blow air out at steeper angles, so they are best used when the ventilation is more to the side of the fans. Airflow fans take air in and out more straightforwardly, so they are best when the ventilation is directly in front or behind the fan. This case for example will do better with static pressure front fans, because the ventilation on the front is to either side of the fans. Yet the exhaust position would do better with an airflow fan, because the vent is open and directly behind where the fan is placed.

From what I saw some days ago it should fit with Trident Z and anything that size or smaller, bigger would most likely interfere with the radiator though

I want to build with Corsair 4000X, H115i Elite Capellix, and Vengeance Pro RGB (mounted on ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-E) will it fit ? Since it does work with H100i 240mm, but the thickness seems to be the same as with the 280mm H115i, but from what I can see the RAM does not go below the fans and rad, it goes like behind it. (I want it to be at the top). Or can I just mount it in the front ? How will airflow be impacted ? Thanks

When u installed new fans did you use the rgb hub that came it with for some reason its not having the fans use rgb by using the original hub

Yeah, like Andre said. With a 240 radiator plus fans you can fit whatever RAM you want. I have 4 dominators that fit, and they are ridiculously tall.
