I hope the video was helpful to you. This tree should be hardy with you. There are numerous interesting plants you can try. There is a contact number on the website, please if you wish to ring and discuss your needs you are welcome.
    Best, Simon

This is a fantastic video. I really appreciate all the work you put into it. The demonstration of how to top the trunks without ripping the bark was incredibly clear and helpful. And the fact that you included multiple clips showing the progression over time was also very useful. Finally I needed to know the approximate harvest window, so thank you for including that as well.
As an aside, YT figured out to recommend the video to me, since I had recently been researching Toon trees. But I would have found the video much sooner if the Latin name had been in the title somewhere. That might increase the view-count for the video.

Great video! Currently researching the species as I'm hopefully going to get my own this year!

Just planted 15 of them in the south of French Cornwall. It tastes really good. I hope they'll grow as fast as yours.

The young leaves in spring are delicious. Treat with hot water, as this plant has a higher accumulation of nitrites than other vegetables.

I was very interested in getting one of these. Now I'm not sure. Is there no use for the bigger leaves? Cooking maybe? Seems like a lot of trouble for a few shoots.

I wonder if you could take and graft 5 or 6 of the branches off the part you're cutting to get more lateral shoots. Seems like it'd be worth a try

I have seen Chinese toon trees over 20 meters in China, which is obviously not suitable for potting.
