I think you may have confused Monaco doing well for Singapore doing well (tbf they also have similar flags!). Definitely easier to do Singapore in the game than Monaco, but Singapore is still very hard with the low population factor

This game is really good at having levels. It’s pretty hard to get yourself up to the top from a lower ranked nation. The hardest start I’ve managed to win from is Spain so far
