Gotta give it to Obeg for surviving this long
Right? That never happens. If only they waited a little longer
Ngl they were my 2nd favorite my first was the first rebellion but I can’t remember there name
Obeg had no troop management skills for the first half of the video, truly impressive
@@rodhasadvice26 they were traitors to the kingdom of obeg and deserved to die

Would actually be an amazing game if they made the map scale so much bigger

7:20 Armies are loyal to their city. By taking their city the rebel army switched sides back to main kingdom.
I was about to comment this
Only sometimes
@@iTrstn Wrong comment.
sorry
@@iTrstn it’s fine.
Rebellions actually have nothing to do with resources actually, it’s all about how far is a village from the main village of the kingdom and how big is said village mostly, its also heavily effected by whether the village has a different culture from the main village.
So essentially if there is a village 3 times the size of main village and is on the other side of the map that has a different culture that city is extremely likely to rebel.
Not guaranteed, but very likely.
Edit: it’s also largely effected by a kingdom having to many villages, which is why there’s a rare knowledge that makes a kingdom able to manage more city’s, that trait makes the maximum number of villages before it starts making every single village not want to be in the kingdom anymore larger.
There is also my way.
I expanded the world along a single village. So I ended up building a kingdom controlling the whole map, that was its the capital, with no other city, meaning there were no possible rebellions.
@@elgrandefleau7359 you do realize there’s an option to just turn of kingdom expansion.
And also I was talking about the game mechanics if there is multiple villages, none of this applies to a kingdom with one village because these mechanics don’t do anything to the main village as it’s loyalty is permanently set to 100. So what is your argument about how the games mechanics work on kingdoms with multiple villages. Because I was never talking about exploiting how the game works in order to avoid something undesirable, I was stating how the mechanics work.
@@E-6969 The people of USA rebelled just because of taxes that they were given by Parliament, plus, they almost lost, but the absurdly stupid decision the British made to keep the later first President of the USA George Washington alive after getting the chance to kill him because the British were satisfied with beating him in a war turned the entire table.
Also, I think the loyalty of the leader can go really low due to traits they have then there is also a chance to rebel even if there aren’t many other villages, or their village isn’t that far away.
start your people in the water, they will swim and walk to where they want to establish their colony
this removes any start bias as they may decide to go to the other side of the map
No it doesn’t as they are still biased to go to closer places
@@johnconnor8206 then place like 5 of them in the ocean and use the force tool to spread them apart
@gaymeister yes but then they'll be biased to where ever they're closest too might as well drop them in space and see where they land lmao
The soldiers don't just have infinite gear despite the infinite resources. Someone has to enter a house and produce the weapon. Its an interesting part of the world box economy. Dwarves are more likely to "smith" btw.
it would be nice if u actually let them expand for thousands of years, like the title said
Yes he has a point also you capitalized thousands of years I thought more people would notice in comnents
lol I enjoy looking at maps like these because there's a recurring theme, which is that all of them have very inaccurate depictions of deserts, particularly in Australia and central Asia.
Australia has quite a lot more green than what is shown on this map, and it's weird because they made the small bit of green in the south western part but not the big bit of green all along the eastern coast. And for central Asia it seems like a lot of the time people tend to forget that all of that isn't just desert, some of it is, definitely not that much though.
I missed the part where that's my problem
@@SonGoku-bn5di I missed the part when anyone asked if it was your problem.
Ok and Greece on this map is a straight peninsula with 1 island… it’s supposed to be general shapes not a cartographic masterpiece
With the Aral Sea gone, I don’t think the central asian “desert” situation is improving
dafaq lmao getting pressed over a pixel map, you all are soft and weak

4:30 When I looked at Evabe's shape at this minute, I almost had a heart attack, it somewhat looked like "that" symbol, the swastika, that means luck, but was tainted by a failed artist
Ik
na-
Lmao, it did looked like that. But what's wrong about saying it looked like a swastika?
@@lagimaster I think it can be offensive to some people (especially those whose their families or people suffered under "that" swastika, and even if I explained that the swastika originally meant good luck, and that the symbol was used in a horrible way and tainted by the mustache man, it would still be offensive for most of the people)
@@marcelocampos9197 hiding words will never be good. And the people who suffered under the nazi regime don't have an issue with the words, it's how they are used. If we praised the swastika or Nazi leaders then that would be a problem, if we talked bad about it, they would most likely like it. And as such, the words themselves are not the issue, but how they are used.
Don't censor your own language, it's our tool to express ourselves clearly, just be fair and conscious on how you use said words

the first i have seen of this game but it looks really cool. I imagine with limited recources its more easy for a power to stay in power.

Salute to gegopu, for enlisting away and being first to dedicating their life to their country at just 11, true pioneer
I would love to see a forty minute long video where you let it get to where it was at the end of this video. Turn of rebellions and let the kingdoms battle it out.
Interesting idea for a colony sim. Definitely going to pick it up on sale

Holy chyshipe: I was the most historical going from a single Italian colony to a world superpower!
Chiruh hegemony who didn't get mentioned at all: -_-
Sad
Okay, outside of the game, I just wanted to share that I would actually want to know if we as humans would have been able to be a society if everything we had was infinite.
Like, because we basically started as civilization because we had commerce in between each other
with infinite resources, technology would basically grind to a halt because scarcity drives innovation. Everything we have is a result of scarcity. Products ,innovations, and technology all exist because of some fundamental scarcity, and the drive to address that scarcity. With infinite resources there would be no need to collaborate with your neighbor, a different city, state, or country. So instead of civilizations and society it would just be anarchy, the only technological advancement would be finding newer and better ways to kill each other.
Hey bro I'm a fan of your videos, also congrats on al out getting to 200k, also how do you get world map on world blox?

i wonder if anyone has setup a historically accurate world and forces from say 60 years ago and let it play out to see where its at lol
I wonder if it's possible for all the rebellions and nations to eventually align/form into the borders of modern countries if you start them like how you did in this video
Extremely improbable, but infinite monkey theorem ig

I'm confused at what math equates '225 years' to 'thousands of years'.
I did this once and africa became a superpower, i'm assuming because its where humans started meaning it became the most advanced

7:13 what happened was that Obeg took Hav's capital so the troops turned into Obeg's troops because they were the troops of their capital. its like the same as the population going to obeg when they capture a city
Rebellions can be friendly/ peaceful/
Also if a country takes over another state that army that lost disbands and becomes the other teams (Winning teams) army.
You didn't even run it for a thousand years...
This made me ponder on whether or not humanity can ultimately birth a form similar to Slanesh. There’s literally no point in fighting for resources, the entire planet is bountiful unlimited, and I can imagine planet wide debauchery occurring after the first hundreds years.
they would def be followers of Slaneesh
I already am one
Hey Mellon how do you get the extra tab at the bottom? id like to experiment with it
Where can I download this map? Btw Great video!!
For some reason since like for the past month or 2 mods haven't been working on my pc for world box?

something that accidentally caugh my eye is mediterannean fleet. they're trapped in 1 sea, cannot go colonize anywhere. just there existing as trasnport boat. maybe they're created for military purpose but they're just used to transport trade most of the time
Hi mellon i love your videos and i have an idea could you do something together with gorg ? he also makes Worldbox vids

What Mellon did: Nah we gonna cut it off at year 250
Do a part 2 so we can see who the world conqueror is!
the fact that borneo is burning is the most realistic thing in this video
Cool vid. But are you able to make it so only one colony has unlimited resources and see how they do against the rest of the world etc (wars and shit)
When the Connie gets taken out it forces all the people to turn to their occupiers so that's why I like older Army just disappeared
