Nice one! I’m pretty certain the song was done fully by the Babymetal team, albeit with heavy Dragonforce influence. Sam and Herman played the guitars for the studio recording of this song, and Dragonforce acted as the backing band on a few special occasions. Babymetal’s live band is the Kami Band. Originally Kami East, with Japanese musicians. Currently, Kami West, with 4 Americans, who’s been added in support of Kami East since 2019, and became the sole backing band starting Apr 2023. 🤘🦊
Good reaction - and if you do go to see them (as your chat said, they will be doing an arena tour of Europe and the UK next May) but you're not keen on mosh pits and the madness of the standing area get yourself a seat - BABYMETAL concerts have a lot of mosh pits.🤘 They can be avoided if you stay to the side or back of course, but don't go thinking "its BABYMETAL, it won't be like most metal concerts". You will be right in that it won't be like most metal concerts (it will be better), but it will be wild on the floor. Yes Herman Li and Sam Totman did the guitar arrangements for this song (it was the only one they were involved in) and, again as your chat said, they made those parts faster and more technical than most of their own songs thinking they would never have to play it live. In 2015 BABYMETAL and DragonForce performed this song live together at an awards show in London. There are a couple of not great quality videos of that performance around.
Are you in the Netherlands? They will perform at the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam on May 13th 2025. I wouldn't miss it. 😁 Herman Li and Sam Totman played in the studio version and, according to Li, they also arranged it. 🤘🦊
Not really. Dragonforce just arranged this song for them and they expected that only the Kami Band would play this song. This meant that they had to train when the Queen wanted to acknowledge them in the Wembley Arena.

The drummer, Anthony Barone, also played for Shadow of Intent and Whitechapel. Currently a member of All That Remains
The flags are basically always sold out in the merch store, my guess is: pretty popular. 🙂

Subscribed. "Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational BABYMETAL!" 🦊 🖖❤

Enjoyable reaction and see what Grington300 has to say about mosh pits. He's pretty much the keeper of Babymetal facts and lore.
Well your next chance would be in May 2025 at their first European and UK Arena Tour.
