welcome to my third video guys. let me know what you think of the new BMW 5 series facelifted version. i had a blast reviezing it and other reviews are on the way. Let me know what other cars you would want me to review and ill try my best to get my hands on them. enjoy!
I have a new 530e , it’s so smooth and relaxing car to live with and as for mpg well I do mostly short trips and I know I’m well over 100 mpg. Great video.
Thank you for watching. And i fully agree, a economical yet powerful car with all the luxury amenities u need. Hope u get many safe and fun miles in it! 🙂
I own a 530e , when you drive in town fully electric the car makes a noise so pedestrians can hear you. It’s a tune composed by Hans Zimmer. Nice video , I learned a thing or two
Good review, well done. Please be sure to use metric measurements for non UK viewers ( e.g. your height is 1.8m, consumption in litres/100km etc). Best of luck.
I understood very well bro. Appreciate that. I have another question, My car slept 90 days in garage is it harmful for battery and car ? What can I do after that? any advices?@@thirst4petrol537
I have a 520d and it’s a really unpleasant engine: it’s noisy in The mid ranges, vibrates to much in The lower revs and sounds very rough and misses power. As I can conclude: 2 Gears too much, two cilinders too Less. This 530e looks much better to drive: Nices sound and much more powerfull
What year is your 520d from? And yes, a diesel will definetely be more noisy than an equivalent petrol engine, especially when it is still cold. It gets quieter as it warms up tho right? Best bmw engine imo are their 3 litre inline 6, petrol or diesel. Plenty of power, so much torque and a very smooth and effortless engine. The diesel version of that is also extremely quiet.
@@thirst4petrol537 it’s a 2018 190hp. I think it juist needs a 6 cilinder. Now The 4 cilinder has 8 gears and that’s also to much. It makes The car always revving to 2500-3000 rpm by acceleration, which makes him nosier. The engine, has enough torque to change gears at 2000rpm. But when a want to use maximum torque The engine starts to rev and The gearbox changes immediately to lower gears. I tried to change it by putting The drive method in sport individual (engine sport, gearbox comfort) and it makes driving The car smoothier and using more torque. I also have a 150bhp X1 118d and here is The engine much smoothier
@@sergevanderpoorten9054 that's weird, my brother has a 2020 520d and this doesnt happen. Have u tried going to the dealer to let it checked out? Maybe the engine needs some fine tuning? They usually do this under warranty so won't cost u anything
@@thirst4petrol537 i Just bought a 330e after seeing this test. Because I drive a lot in The city I choosed a smaller 3 series. Thanks for your review and tests: thee are very good☺️
@@sergiojippys3838 oh that's awesome! Congratulations with the purchase :) and yes, a 3 series is much smaller and better around town. Also a bit more sporty to drive. Enjoy the new car man, happy for you!
Shame you fail to mention the two huge draw-backs of the plug-in hybrid: (1) Reduced trunk capacity to accommodate for the batteries (which you would have noticed if you knew the trunk of the non-hybrid G30, or if you actually compared spec sheets) (2) Smaller gas tank capacity, also due to the batteries. Makes this car a pretty bad long distance driver. Can't believe you missed this.
You are right about that but this review has been made from the assumption that the 530e, like most hybrid cars here, are used as company cars and for business purposes and mostly commuting between work and home and not for long distance travelling. If someone wants a car for that they are better off with one of the petrol or diesel engines. These cars are mostly used for city driving here. But thanks for noticing that and telling me. I will pay more attention to such details in my next reviews 🙂
@@thirst4petrol537 I would consider a difference of 20 liters quite considerable, especially since the non-hybrid 5-series already has a smaller trunk than the E-Class and A6. Overall I wish you'd be a little more critical of the cars you review. I know, you don't wanna piss off the dealer, but like this you'll never gain credibility and build a follower base.
@@TheUrbanEpicure thanks a lot for that honest feedback man, i really appreciate it. I am actually reviewing an E and A6 after this so i will be more critical.

Nice review well spoken great diction and great explanations especially for people who may not be fully aware of how this car works.
Thank you very much for the kind words and thanks for watching, im glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Great car! The advantage of hybrid is The silence white driving in The city, and The lots of power when you need it. Magnificent The bmw hybride!
Oh yes, and the 545e is even better with even more power lol

i just bought 2022 530e LCI. I just want to ask that my bmw ran 51.000 km (30k miles) is it okay or bad ?m
51k kms is pretty good bro, they can easily run more but make sure u do the maintenance on time 😁

Nice video 👍🏻 What are the name of the colors ? The grey is amazing
Thank you, i believe the color is either sophisto gray or dark graphite metallic. One of these 2 🤔
Which colour was the car?
I believe it's called Bernina Grey Amber if i'm not mistaken. Nice color right? :)
Great review and really helpful. What colour is this car in the review please ?
Thank you! The color on this car is dark graphite metallic.
@@thirst4petrol537 thanks do you recall The actual colour “name” as I think it’s the colour I’m going to choose. No problem if you can’t recall it.
@@kamlall9722 This is the actual name of the color mate, at least that's what the dealer told me. Do u mean the color code or so?
@@kamlall9722 and nice one, are you getting the 530e or another type of engine?
We are not ready for electric in the uk I’m my opinion, so I think I’ll stick with a 520D for now! Thanks for getting back To me so quickly.
what is color?
The color is called Bernina grey amber. Nice one isnt it?
After 4 Months driving his little sister 330e my fuel consumption is 2.8l/100km😀.
