Shogun Godzilla and the Alien were 2 of my childhood favorites, but unfortunately, they, along with my Star Wars figures, did not survive my style of play and other sorts of 'customizations' made to them.
Yes In Deed!! Great Top 10 list Tim 😎 My Top 10: 1: The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman 2: GI JOE (Adventure Team Era Only) 3: (now don't laugh) Kenner 1979-1986 Strawberry Shortcake 4: Mattel BIG JIM 5: Pulsar Man 6: Kenner Dusty (1974-1977) 7: Kenner Darci (1978-1980) 8: Mister Rogers Neighborhood Toys 9: Mego Jordache 10: Ideal JJ ARMES
Great list... I have never liked figures with hard clothes. Guess I was to young for Marx and to old for the Action figure boom in 80's. I still have my favourite Big Jim figure Winnetou left from the german released Karl May western themed line. As I live in Sweden Big Jim was popular here. During the ages I gathered up some of his friends, outfits and equipment. Generally I like all 1:6 scale and GI Joe, Action Man and other brands as long as the got soft clothes of course... Lately I even started to collect Mattel Made to Move series as they seems sturdy and got a huge variety of looks. Maybe they will they be in the future vintage lists when today list is ancient.
@@dollbaseinfo I've seen photos of the Karl May line, and it's very interesting to see all the different variations in characters the initial figure went through. I have to look up the Made to Move line 👍. Thanks for sharing and watching!
Out of your 10 I had several and still have some of my original s. Replaced alot too. I had AT Joes, Big Jim,Pulsar and his nemesis,Godzilla. Not many Star Wars but a few. Never had Bionic Man line or any Joe Real American Hero. Ones I had and still do favorites are Heroes In Action,Evil Kenevil and cycle, 12"Han Solo and Storm Trooper. Many other things. I try to replace the things that made me happy as a boy becuase they still make this 56 year old happy today. Channels like yours make my day.
You nailed it with your #1 for me - absolutely my first action figure and one I spent many happy hours with outside in the 1970's. My mom even sewed a sleeping bag and simple tent for mine so he could go camping with us.
Great list Tim. Some of yours are some of mine too and I still have from a child. I have large collection of original trilogy Star Wars. Six million dollar man, Marx figures, Big Jim & 64-75 GI Joe. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻
@ Well, there is two that I’m mainly doing. 1/6 Joes or figures and of course my Hot Wheels which I luckily still have my original Redlines as a kid. I guess that’s why I primarily started my channel here is to bring back those wonderful memories I had as a kid. In a way I’m reliving my youth lol. 😝🤷🏻♂️. It keeps me young. 👍🏻
All of your choices are on my list as well! The only thing I would have added is the Fisher Price Adventure line in the mid to late 70s. I was the perfect age when those came out. Cool Figures that fit in cool vehicles. That is the line that stared it all for me. So when Kenner Star Wars came out it was a natural step to start collecting those as well! Thanks for another great video!!
@@dougjames4972 I've seen more pictures of those in more recent years. I think they're a pretty big collector line now, aren't they? Thanks for sharing
Yours is a great list, Tim! My all-time favorite toys are Barbie and the 12 inch G.I. Joe. i have had a love and appreciation for all kinds of toys as a kid but, when it came down to birthdays and Christmas, Barbie and Joe were the ones that came to mind.
Pulsar had a human brain, but could be given Mission Disks to update him for the mission he was about to go off on. I lost those things long ago. Pulsar has been one of my favorite dolls since 2nd grade in the 70s
I looked but could find almost nothing on "King Ding-a-Ling" from I believe IDEAL. There was an entire line of "Ding-a-Ling" robots. I got the King for christmas, 1972. WOW!!! That's 52 years ago next Wednesday. See if you can find anything on it.
Lots of cool stuff here! Does the blood still pump inside your Pulsar? I haven't dug out mine in a while. I'm afraid that his blood has dried up by now!
@@kevinputry5655 when I got my first Pulsar a few years ago he seemed to not work. I ran a warm hairdryer on the fluid area and got it to work. I'm sure these figures are all pretty much hit and miss now though.
@@Dalekzilla besides The Great Garloo what are some of your other favorites? I've only been able to see one those while visiting the children's museum in Indianapolis. Very cool vintage toy 👍
@ToyTinkerTim Well, definitely the Remco Lost in Space Robot toy from the mud 60s....the talking Herman Munster doll, also from the mud 60s (I have both of these toys). Love the Denys Fisher Doctor Who line from the mid 70s.
@Dalekzilla my older brother had the Herman Munster talking puppet. It scared the bajebees out of me, LoL. Robot B9 is so cool, but I only have the one Trendmasters made some years later, I think 90s. Those are all awesome 👍

I loved Mac Mason and the gadgets.
Grew up on Adventure Team!
Need to get a few of those again. Especially those backpacks.

My neighbor, Chris Davis had that Alien...i wanted it so bad! it was beautiful!

For me, Matchbox cars (pre-Superfast era), Tonka, and Lego.
Nice! I remember my brother had the Deora (surfboard) and the Beatnik Bandit among others, but those two really amazed me, very cool designs 👍
