Kitakyushu City, Japan JR Kagoshima Main Line jinnoharu Station South Exit redevelopment

Redevelopment of the area adjacent to Gin-no-Hanaru Station.
Until the mid-1980s, there was a Jr Kagoshima Main Line Shinnohane Station and the surrounding area, and there was a Japanese National Railways Higashi-Orio Cargo Wheel yard.
The wheel yard was abolished by the rationalization of the Japanese National Railways in 1984, and the Japanese National Railways itself was privatized afterwards, and it had long passed as a holding ground of the JNR Liquidation Corporation, but in the Early 1990s, the redevelopment of this area was promoted under the initiative of Kitakyushu City, and it had reached the present day.
Kitakyushu City purchased and owned the land adjacent to the South Exit from the JNR Liquidation Corporation, and decided to sell it when the leased land deadline was reached.
Redevelopment was left to the private sector.
Private hospitals will be in the redevelopment site, and other apartment buildings and supermarkets will enter.
The project is scheduled to be from March 2022 to April 2025.
