😻💘💖Recent progress on Meiji Park renovation work in front of Hakata Station, Fukuoka City

Meiji Park in front of Hakata Station is a popular park in an office district, but Fukuoka City is planning to introduce the Park-PFI system, which will entrust the management and operation of the park to the private sector.
The business concept is a green oasis in front of Hakata Station, "The Gateway Park "HAKATA MEIJI"".
A central four-story building will be placed in the park, and a multi-story corridor and five plazas will be set up around the park.
The building will have restaurants on the first and second floors, a sports gym and sauna on the third and fourth floors, and a plaza on the roof.
Park development will begin in September 2024, and the entire park will be closed from August 26th before construction begins.
The park is scheduled to be completed in late February 2026.
It will also link to the continuity of activity with Hakata Station and surrounding facilities, and will provide a place to relax and promote health.
