A bigger bet spread can maximize your profits but it also EXPONENTIALLY increases the needed bankroll size to reach an acceptable risk of ruin (bankruptcy). With a variance of 3 units at a $25 table I’m safe starting with $1200. But going up to 8 units needs a starting bankroll of $10,000 or else you will go broke 1/3 of the time. Even with perfect basic strategy and card counting you will lose 10 hands in a row every 3 hours or so. That’s the main reason the most successful professional card counters organized into teams - to pool their money into a bigger bankroll and decrease their chances of losing everything on a bad night.

Yep u can be backed off for small spreads. Changing your bets is it's own red flag. Though I will say going from 10 to 2 sets of 80 I believe is a 1 to 16 bet spread. A 1 to two sets of 40 is a 1 to 8 spread imo.
Your concept of bet spread is almost correct with 6 decks, but you have to consider bankroll size and risk of ruin. I can't do 1―8 bet spread unless bankroll grows to at least 1k. I use half-kelly betting scheme when it comes to playing at red chipper tables. I kwow small bet spread can't be beaten in such shoe games, and maximuize EV,but I want to put in more hours to play and get to long run. Id like to hear your thought toward invoice card counters like me. l am a Japanese card counter and gear up for practing card conting. What Betspread for short term profit? I am at a casino evening in a community. Everyone starts with a bankroll of 2000, a lot of games. No money ofc. We can play, eat etc for 4hrs. Ofc no one will be backed off. Top 3 with most chips wins some sweats, thats it.
hey blackjack this bet spread just helped me out but there are no videos on youtube of people actually playing and using this can you play with a friend dealer and talk while you play like say the count and ur conversion to true count and why and when ur raising your bet.

hi there, not sure to quite understand your question but a running count of +5 does not necessarily mean that you have the edge. Altough a True count of +5 is really good and you should bet big on the hand because you have an edge of around 2-3%
OH SO THATS WHAT 1-8 MEANS. It's just literally betting more per 0.5% advantage. Man- I thought I was missing out all this time. It just meant betting higher with higher risk of ruin. I'll stick with my 1-4 High Opt 2, thank you very much
So if the true count is 5 or 6 and the floor is busy and not paying attention, how much can you increase the bet, 160? Or even more if it's a true count of 6?
i recommend staying at a max bet at any true count of +5 or higher, yes betting even more at +6 true count increases your profits but remember that casinos can catch you more easily if you have a bigger bet spread
What do you think about pHD mathematics stating that you should never count cards because the profit is too low and there’s too much risk involved and you should rather exploit 20% rebates on losses, hole card, or track aces for a 13-52% edge instead of card count for only 2-5% edge
Well it all depends what is your bankroll and bet size , because if you are playing medium to high stakes 2-5% edge is really good and can give great profits in the long run
For every amount of decks. But true count is the count for each deck. So te get a true count of 5 when there are 7 decks left then u need a count of 35 to get true count of 5
What is your favorite bet spread ?
Hi mate one question
The shuffling machine is more different than shoe? Because the shuffling machine not letting to counting the cards correctly
@@khaliqkhaliqo4455 I recommend never playing with shuffle machines, its always better to count cards with a classic shoe

Interesting! Are you using CVCX to calculate that risk of ruin?
Thanks for this video mate, subbed! Keep them coming 🤙🏼
No problem and yes no worries more vids coming shortly!
I was backed off for two hands at $80 in $10 double deck. It's a good spread but doesn't guarantee you won't get backed off.
