Am I the only one that believes this to be a slam on modern media? We, as a whole, are easily impressed with no-talent, easily done, autotuned, poorly written people, like Beiber, Twilight, etc. and we skip over the unknowns with real talent. I believe its commentary on the mainstream versus the more indie ventures.
