- I might have found one of Britain's most unloved planes in War Thunder, the Beaufighter MK21. If you've been playing for as long as I have, you'd have unlocked the Beaufighter in your first weeks of playing the British tech tree, never to touch it again. Well, today we revisit the Beaufighter and my word was it worth it...

Do you think you could make videos on the VG.33, P-43, J 22, D.500/501/510, Re.2000/2002, and/or Fokker D.XXI? They're real hidden low tier gems (imo) that none of the CCs seem to cover.
i think the mk VIc beau fighter is much better due to it high speed and turn time and it is at a lower Br
Dual engine fighters are the most fun one can have in the game after 1000 hours, helps give a unique experience
After 3000 hours using the Lincoln B to turn fight Ta 152s is the most fun you could have.
Sunderland dogfighting is the most fun. When a lvl 100 109 pilot zoom climbs you, and then stalls out 40m away from you and you turn and rip and tear with your 4x7.7mm and set him on fire with no wing and he screams abuse at you for the remainder of the match wile you systematically dismantle his team. There is no feeling like it😂
As always, the most OP thing in the game is teamwork! Flying with a wingman on comms made that a real joy to watch.

Very modern concept, multi role strike fighter, sometimes equipped with radar, night fighter, interceptor... a jack of many trades.

My issue with heavy fighters in general is that they rely way too much on cooperation, something that WT lacks a lot
Using the Beaufighter without any friends to cover you in actual fighters or another Beaufighter is a nightmare
That explains why I got rid of them after a few matches.
Mostly used them for picking up ground targets

The Beaufighter is an absolute Chad in ground RB. I've had downtiers where I absolutely annihilated the other team with its 20s. I've had 16 or 17 kills with it before.
Man that first game reminded me of why I hate playing on U.S teams in air RB. The positioning of those mustangs was awful.

Used to be crap as it was over tiered and flew like a brick, but i have flown it recently after all the rating changes and its so much better now, actually more competitive
I think I’ve mentioned it before but this plane is a low tier A-10 at 3.0

I used it in my 3.7 line up and it’s very good, like I can bring it to 7.3 good, and it also used in my friend view (when I killed a 190 in a turn fight)
The Beaufighter cockpit was the first to be designed with ergonomic principles...it actually launched the field of Ergonomics in the UK.

In a similar vein, try the Sea Fury, that thing is slept on
I actually tried to record the Sea Fury before this video but the lobbies went so quick that I could only get 2/3 kills before they were over so didn't make for interesting footage! Great plane though
Try the MkVIc instead, 3.0 with a lot less weight. You can actually almost throw it into a fight against some fighters and sorta get away with it.

Don't know how long you've been playing but the Beaufighter was THE overpowered plane when War Thunder was new and only planes, believe it or not.

@@memehamster523 I don't see me taking their kill? Warlord got the severe damage on the P-51 with the first few shots and the I-16 took him out by taking the wing off.
Was assist, p51 clearly had earned the kill via the damage

The Beaufighter use to have the nicknamed the Brokenfighter because in 2013/2014 it was the most op shit in the game at it's tier.

@@WeBeStronk I was playing the Mark IX with one rocket pod and two 500lbs bombs. It is a ground Destroyer. First target some AA and then line the road up to eliminate, with your rockets and then bombs, some ground vehicles. You will have a good laugh
