Thank you so much
Hi... Is there a way to NOT get the new outlook? i like the old one
Amazing video!! On the New Outlook is there a shortcut to update all folders, send/receive. I have not found it yet of should be the same as classic Outlook?
The New Outlook is more like the web version. These features are not available. The send/receive messages are instantaneous unless you use delay sending.
PS. Thank you for the kind words.
Is there a Resend feature in the Web App version? I know the work around is forward the sent message but will this even be socialized as the official workaround? I hope they give us a real Resend feature and not just leave us with a workaround. Thanks.
What happened to the columns in New Outlook? No option to add extra columns apart from three paltry preset fields?
Yes, you're correct. There is no option to add or rearrange columns. I don't know if it's on the future list.
I do know it hasn't been available on the web version for years.
Great overview, Thanks! Quick question, I don;t see a way to follow up on a sent email, did they remove that feature?
It is not available yet. I suspect to see it in the near future. Remember this version is still in the Beta stage.
@@traccreations4e good point! Hopefully we’ll see that feature added! Thank you for getting back to me 😊
How about a video that shows all the great, time saving and invaluable features that are in Windows Mail but missing from the new Outlook. Especially being able to link multiple accounts and being able to easily see how many new messages are in each group. I have separate groups with linked accounts for work Microsoft, work Google, personal Microsoft and personal Gmail accounts. Going to be horrible to loose this in the new dumbed down version .😭
Microsoft is rolling out many features each month. Check out my New Outlook playlist and stay connected. I will keep you up to date.
The columns disappeared! Can I get the columns back? This is not an efficient way to organize and search for those that are heavy email users.
Hello, thanks. I am worried about what will happen to TASKS module (now to do) despite it took me some days to configure and personalize my Task module at the beggining. I think it is one of the best option of Outlook Classic since the ability to add columms, condicionals, fonts, filters, categories, different date criteria, etc.
I did try TO DO and is to simple to follow information. Do you know if TO DO could be personalized like TASKS.?? or if TASKS will disssapear in the new outlook??
I tried new outlook the pastd days and after some minutos I went back to the classic.
Thanks. Greetings from Bolivia
Thank you for sharing your location. Wow - Bolivia. I am located in Pennsylvania, USA.
New Outlook is a lot like Outlook for the Web. So I "suspect" that the classic task management will go away. Personally, I have grown to like the TO DO APP over the classic task version even without the features you mentioned above. I am able to create multiple steps within the task and add them to my dashboard.
If these features are important to you, please give MS feedback while the New Outlook version is still in beta mode. "You can influence change."

Thanks for sharing.
The Snooze feature seems pretty cool…I did notice it seems to be disabled in the Unread folder. Is that another Unread glitch or by design?
I am not sure. I will investigate. Give me a couple of days to find out.
@@traccreations4e no problem!!
I have so far not figured out how to import pst files in the new Outlook. There is no possibility for importing/exporting data.
Not at this time. MS is working on this functionality. I suspect it will be next year before it is available.
@@traccreations4e Thank you for your quick response
I do not like the check box in the incoming emails, how do I get rid of it. I do not want to check each box to get rid of incoming emails. I like the classic old version so much easier.
Also, have you found a way for the BCC field to always appear for new emails and replies?
You can not set BCC to always show in a new email as the default - at this time. This is good feedback for MS.
Great questions. Please keep them coming. 😆
@@traccreations4e omg thank you for that b/c I started to feel bad for lighting up your comments. I love Outlook and answer a lot of Outlook questions for my teammates so I want to learn as much as I can to help them make the switch!
@@jetsetter311 I can make myself available for lunch and learn for you and your team. My rates are reasonable. Please feel free to contact me at info@traccreations4e.com if you are interested.
@@traccreations4e soooo I found a setting for this when I was hunting for the “auto capitalize” setting!
Settings>Mail>Compose and reply>Always show Bcc
(Btw it looks like the setting to auto capitalize the first word in a sentence is missing? I can’t find it anywhere.)
And it looks like the Quick Access Toolbar is gone in New Outlook too?
Where has the Your Name field gone? so that the receiver sees my name instead of my email address
Let me follow up on that. I don't believe it was always like that. Stay tuned..
Is the option to combine inboxes removed?
You can overlay calendars but not inboxes. However, you can add multiple mail accounts
After activating the new look i'm no longer able to add any pst
PST files are not available in New Outlook yet. Remember you can return to the classic version while this version is in the Beta stage.
Can we use this Outlook in offline mode.
Not yet. It is on Microsoft list to add. This version is still in beta stage.
Microsoft is open to feedback. There two ways to give feedback.
