- The ewes finally seem to have got the memo, and lambing is gaining momentum now!!
After a slower day Tuesday, we rounded it off by finally welcoming some new lambs out of POPCORN!!
Wednesday was a different story...
Met with lots of lambs, and starting to see some size variations in the sets of multiples... I've seen this before.
And had basically alleviated it with our post breed ration... which I changed for this group. WISH I HADN'T DONE THAT.
And... my sweet little rescue lamb is now a big girl and introduced to the Nanny.
Much to my achy breaky heart's dismay.

I am a nurse and used to work in a high school. I took care of everyone-students and staff. It would drive me crazy when staff would come by, ask my opinion, ignore it and then come back the next day worse. They would ask again, saying they never tried my suggestion so what else would work. 🙄Loving all the babies and seeing how fast they are growing! ❤️
I am so excited to so see lamb shenanigans. Now we have another lamb with hearts. I'm so in love with both! Honestly I don't think I would ever get tired of feeding baby lambs, I think chlrissa is so good at it because she secretly loves it!! Another keeper thanks popcorn..can we call the lamb kernel

I couldn’t help but think of the passage “a shepherd knows his sheep, and is known by them” as Sandi talked about whether Popcorn had had a girl in the past. It’s amazing the memory she has of her sheep’s records!
All of the newborn lambs are precious and their mamas are brave, but Matty and 'Lil Miss Billy (who I refer to as Princess), and now the Popcorn Twins, have stolen my heart.

I have a disability and long term illness and have recently been into hospital for a couple of months. Your videos including old ones helped keep me sane being in a room on my own with no visitors. So thank you for all you do and your hard work, dedication and love for your flock.

She is the mother of the little black 🧡 heart lamb that she rejected.
#39 is Itty Bitty's mom, but rejected her when Sandi tried to put her back with mom after warming her up and giving some TLC to get her going. It might work out well if #39 gets to still one lamb out of a set of triplets, assuming her milk hasn't dried up yet.
