I booked Obituary for my Auntie Valerie's 60th birthday party, and I would very much recommend this band for other family events.
Arrived on time. Polite.

I remember my dad playing y’all’s music when he would go to drop me off for school when I was 9. I’m only 18 but I definitely see now why he liked y’all. He had a tattoo of your logo on his arm and apparently you guys were a big part of his childhood. May he Rest In Peace I just wanted to feel connected to him I guess. Great song though.

Love this band for years and still do. They still have that same energy and they are still one of the best death metal bands around. I remember seeing them back in the early '90's on the End Complete Tour and their sound is as good live as their studio album. Long live Obituary!

Nobody sounds like John Tardy. Nobody sounds like Obituary. Dammit, I just love this band. There's a kinda sorta classic rock vibe with their sound and they are ridiculously tight. Just read that they are releasing a new album sometime in the Spring of 2017. I already like it. These guys are just a machine that never disappoints nowadays. I hope to catch them on tour next year. And I just LOVE that there are almost 1.5 million views. Obituary rules.

One of their best albums IMO. The breakdowns in this album are shattering and really fit well with Obituary. Shame they don't do them any more.

Every time I hear Obituary, i feel like smokin a mean spliff. Their music is such a super stone groove! Too bad Allen West lost his shit, he was coming up with sick, sick riff melodies and solos, man. Absolutely freakin groovy stuff.

It’s a good mid ground between heavy metal and death metal, much like death. You don’t have to look up lyrics or jump straight to trying to grasp wormed type vocals, for example. Wormed took a few more years for me
Him, Joe from Gojira, and Robb Flynn of Machine Head are a few of my favorite amongst having distinguished grunts to their vocals.
