I thought they would say something about football or samba, but they asked about Sepultura. Was shocking for me. I saw this video several times when I was a kid and never realized the location they were showing. I thought they were singing about Brazilian tribes losing their land but I realize now that you can fit this song in nearly any place on earth. Great choice of location given what's happening today.

I saw this video several times when I was a kid and never realized the location they were showing. I thought they were singing about Brazilian tribes losing their land but I realize now that you can fit this song in nearly any place on earth. Great choice of location given what's happening today.

Yes, it has a Soundgarden-esque grunge-metal feel with the tribal drums and heavy drop-tuned riffs. In the early 90's, all of those subgenres were crossing over.

I associate the grunge sound more with the heavier more Sabbath-influenced Seattle bands such as Soundgarden and Alice In Chains than I do with Nirvana, who were more influenced by punk and 60's garage rock than by Sabbath.

Megadeth is the most technical out of all of them, and the most unique metal band out of all metal bands! I mean give me a more unique band with a more unique sound, slayer is 0-0-0 pantera is similar, sepultura is a little different, but their riffs tend to sound like metallicas sometimes
