But for random useless doodles I'd prefer normal thick brushes because it's sometimes unnecessary to use textured brushes and/or textures for useless random doodles

The sketch brush that i use is the "dry ink" brush from procreate; for me, it gives a nice grainy/sketchy look to ur lineart, and its what ive been using for a year or so now
I love that brush! I edited it a bit to my liking but it’s mostly the same. It’s awesome
@@Currently_Fangirling yeah, it is; it gets a little frustrating depending on the width since it can look too grainy sometimes, but other than that, it works like a charm

My favorite sketch brush (that I also use for lineart oop) is 6B Pencil. It has a nice feel for me
I use Salamanca. It’s weird to use for sketching, I know, but it gives me the ideal look.

I have been having struggles finding a good sketch Brush and this video helped me out so much 😊
I don't use procreate because I don't have an iPhone, but on Ibispaint, there's a brush called the genius pen. I love it so much! It gives me drawing so much charm!

I just use the technical pencil lol but the chalk one looks really nice. i use reed and spectra for lining most of the time (occasionally I’ll use marker for more simple and cute pieces, like if it were to go in a kids book) and there’s not really a set one I use for painting, but I really like nikko rull, acrylic and watercolour and I usually use salamanca for shading and fades. I also have a milk brush pack that I use sometimes

I like hearing other artists’s brush preferences because there’s just so many great brushes out there that I get overwhelmed and too anxious to start using new ones😅 Recommendations like this help be a starting point!

The round brush is SO underrated for sketching

I like the flat brush from bluesssatan.
When it's small it's great for sketching. When it's big it works great for painting as well.

My personal favorite sketch brush is Dry Ink! I used to use the Studio Pen, but I like Dry Ink more because it looks more like an actual sketch to me

Personally I really like the script and brush pens. Script is good for clean lineart, and brush pen is good for things like calligraphy

I use 'pen (fade)' for everything. Sketching, lineart, coloring and rendering. It's super smooth yet slightly textured and it makes blending look really unique. It also gives the lineart a really cool messy look
My favorite way to draw is the now “vintage” way. With a pencil

i really like narindar pencil, it’s free on procreate
I use the normal pen brush for pretty much everything. I don't have procreate (don't use apple products). It works well when you know what you're doing
The brush I use most is "dip pen (hard)" on ibis paint X (I don't have any Apple products 😅)

My favorite sketch brush is called pen pen pen, I have no idea who the creator is, I got it from a discord server, the person who uploaded the file for it also could not find the person who made it
It’s got a nice texture like a pencil and has good pressure sensitivity
