I do not understand how anyone can critique the MR1 but not include how well the shots group at 100 yards. How does the barrel hold its grouping after heating-up from several magazine dumps to test the barrel's harmonics because the barrel seems rather thin causing some concern. If you are going to critique a weapon please be thorough. If anyone can answer these questions please share them for all to benefit.
I wonder if there was something wrong with the model they gave him? I can hit the bolt release on mine with my trigger finger without issues. The fact he was having issues with just pulling the stock out as well is also strange.
More info on the MR1: Beretta is the parent company to Benelli and I've found that some parts from the Beretta CX4 and the RX4 will fit on it. I am actually using the tri-rail and bipod from the CX4. =D The rifle in this video is the "European" Civilian version of the RX4.
I love videos like this when people are honest and really say what they feel about the rifle. Most of the time you can tell people getting paid to say the product is perfect and works even if you run a tank over it. Tks for the vid.
@cliffcox66 I own the U.S. version and it is clearly marked Remington .223. It has a 16" barrel with no flash hider and a full stock. The collapsible stock is only available on the euro version. (wish I had it) I have run 1270 rounds through it without any FTF or FTE problems. And I don't have any issues with the bolt release. IMO, the rifle is flawless.
i just got an MR-1 and find it easy to use. the one problem is finding magazines that fit. so far every one i've tried is too tight. Benelli is only offering the 5 round magazine that comes with the rifle so there needs to be third party mags. does anyone have any suggestions?
. *For whatever reason, the Benelli MR1 is a lone wolf, running contrary to any standard magazine release, which makes it obsolete and useless for any type of defensive weapon...time is always critical! :\*
Rick Taylor is NOT a fan of the Benelli MR1. Rick Taylor is the world's greatest operator The MR1 is accurate? Rick Taylor can circumcise a humming bird at 500 yards with his AR! Conclusion: If Rick Taylor thinks the MR1 sucks, than the MR1 sucks! And if you don't know who Rick Taylor is, you're not operator enough!

God damn it I wish I knew the CX4 rail would fit before I put my max bid at 300 on a Benelli rail 😣

I've only used Pmags with it, but they work perfectly.

Nice gun
It's a great reliable weapon there is 0 wrong with it the most reliable weapon I own this sounds like a typical ar-15 owner some ar-15's are junk 🙄
Couldn't see the point of this.
It is what it is... that's the defining comment.

16" barrel? In Portugal we only got the 20" version... Does it take M16 mags without probs?
That MR1 may run 5.56 without any trouble, however, that is the Euro version. The U.S. version is .223 specific. So no 5.56.
is there a list of rifles marked for .223 while really being capable of 5.56 (to
