I watched it, it is the best scenario, the dialogues are amazing, I hope you continue, because I have never seen such a scenario and dialogue in 15 years.
Actually one of the best anime and even TV show I've ever seen! It's even up there with the all time greats like Spirited Away, Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle, etc. Very well made!
The show manages to navigate subjects like race, gender, sexuality & disability with incredible grace. This interviewer does not. She took the stereotypical woke angle on every subject, looking for drama & conflict where there was none. I was interested in the historical authenticity of the show & the creators managed to get some good info in, despite the lack of tact. I won't be checking out any more of this channel. Enjoy your woke echo chamber if you like, but there are other more nuanced ways of looking at the world.
The series animation and the way sequences are directed is a masterpiece. In Episode one you find yourself comparing the animation to Walt Disney's 1940's Snow White, the standard by what all animation is set. The way the story unfolds from a directors point of view is excellent, thought sequences carefully inserted in the fight scenes as well as other otherwise mundane activities like hammering a piece of metal or hanging a tool on the wall. Truly a joy to watch, instant classic. The only bad part is the heavy hit of WOKE you get at the end of episode one. I won't ruin it for those who have not seen it but lets say, like asking the audience to believe 'black Vikings' ruined that series, just like woke ruined Dexter's and Justified's comebacks with mandatory inclusion and unrealistic and unnecessary and unlikely fake diversity. We can believe a young man pulling this off, not a woman. The fact her master who notices when she walks on shells would not notice 'once a month' that she is a woman also tears at the story. Also she travels through wild country and wild animals do not notice her blood once a month and kill her? She would be a magnet every 4 weeks to wolfes and bears and anything with a sense of smell 60 times more powerful then men's. The saddest thing is that it did not need to be that way, could have been a true modern classic. Now its a near miss ruined by WOKE. Thank God WOKE is on its way out in the western world. It ruined Star Wars countless of movies almost bringing Hollywood to its knees (no it was in bad shape before COVID) Hopefully in the future they will not let WOKE influence their stories, the directing and the animation are too good for it, way, way too good to spoil it with it. (politics don't belong in entertainment)
Good grief - clearly subtlety is lost on you: Swordfather KNEW her secret, he simply told her she didn’t need to articulate it to him. As for your “wolves would smell her period blood and she would be dead” theory (If you can call it that) - what are you, 12? How tf do you think humanity survived for thousands of years if you think women can’t survive in the wild without getting eaten every time we get our period?? You do realize women lived IN THE WILD, not in houses, for thousands of years prior to modern history, right? Again, good grief.

This was a beautiful series in every way. But the interviewer's obsession with identity on almost every question is a mental illness. Ugh.
I wish you two would work at Marvel, Marvel has been making garbage for the last 4 years.
The villain was an Irish character with a Scottish accent who calls himself British 🤦🏻(actor was great, but it's sad they couldn't get him right)
