Hi Joe, I've come across your video and this is exactly what I needed to watch today. I have done all those tracks you are describing, love hiking, but for the last 2 years, due to covid and other commitments, I have not been in the mountains at all, and miss is terribly. So your video is a great reminder of this amazing Alpine environment. Great videos and fab photographs, really enjoyable to watch. thank you again, and keep walking.
Thanks I am glad that you enjoyed it the Victorian high alpine region is quite something, I was very fortunate with the weather every one of my 7 days were perfect.The flowers were really magnificent giant carpet of colours as far as the eye could see, some high alpine huts & of course Mt Bogong via the Staircase Spur & Mt Feathertop via Diamantina Spur provided the physical test to the hike. I do hope that it has inspired you & that as things improve you might get up to enjoy the sights. Happy Hiking
