They succumb to it and end up destroying the entire country. There’s a lot of interconnections amongst all tribes and trying to isolate and economically destroy a bigger tribe affects that interconnection and apart from the loyalists closer to that type of leader, nobody else benefits. It’s a suicidal mindset. Arap Moi had it and used it “perfectly” to alienate and isolate one tribe but the whole country paid the price.
