Well they are now a staple in our house also - LOL - Our local Costco sells a huge tin of them this time of year, OH, we better stock up on them before Christmas. Places here only seems to stock them during the Christmas holidays. Thank you for your comment!
Let me recommend campbells all butter shortbread to you. It’s so delicious lovely and buttery especially with some hot chocolate or maybe a coffee. We have it all year around and never let a Christmas go by without it.
Well we do LOVE shortbread cookies and Walkers is the top of our list. BUT we have never seen the Campbells all butter shortbread before, so I added it to my list of suggestions and hope we find it. Is it a UK brand also? We need to make another UK Snacks review video soon (Part #3)! Thank you for your comment!
I love the ones with ginger. For me, anything with ginger is better the spicier it is, especially ginger beer. My favorite UK cookies are the malted milk powder ones, Jaffa cakes, and Jammie Dodgers.
Is that the Gingerbread Walkers? We did film a review of those? Did I post it already??? I think so. We already reviewed Jaffa Cakes in our UK Snacks video, but have never heard of Jammie Dodgers, it's going on our UK list right now! Thank you for your comment!
We have known each other for over 30 years! We used to match alot more in scores, then not match for awhile, except for a new video we filmed this weekend we matched. But we both have very similar taste. Thank you for your comment!
You nailed it! The simple quality ingredients that we would use if we made it ourselves. Walkers is good stuff -- classic cookies. If you get a good price on it, it's a better value than even baking it yourself. Great video -- will have to look for them. Plus, as you noted, no chemicals, dyes, or artificial junk.
We found a very large metal tin box at Costco of Walkers cookies. We need tp get another one before Christmas. We love the simple ingredients list, and not full of stuff we can't even pronounce. Hope you get a chance to try them, they are so good! Thank you for your comment!
OMG what is Walker's Mince Tarts? We have never seen them before, what's inside of them? Mince meat? But these are amazing and Costco has a HUGE tin of them, we need more before Christmas! Thank you for your comment!
Oh not, these are not hard at all and much better than any shortbread cookies we've had in the US. Oh wait did we dip these in some Yorkshire tea in this video? We do that from time to time when we try a UK product! That's when I'm told everytime that I pronounce Yorkshire wrong - LOL - Thank you for your comment!
Sure, but I doubt we would have them in time, filmed, edited and posted before Christmas! Oh and then there's that Post strike, hope that ends soon there! Thank you for your comment!
I'm a sucker for a good shortbread cookie. Great review!
You and me both, I hope you have tried Walkers if not grab some the next time you see them! OMG they are so good! Thank you for your comment!
Love you 2 ❤
These are staples in any country that was colonized by England, I grew up on them!
