  • This track contains isochronic tones beating at 7.83Hz in Alpha, which is a frequency also known as Schumann Resonance. There are no ramps in the frequency, it's just a straight 7.83Hz beat all the way through the whole hour track.

    ► If you are new to this type of audio brainwave entrainment, find out how isochronic tones work and how they compare to binaural beats here: www.mindamend.c....
    I've also embedded amplitude entrainment effects into the Space Travel soundtrack. This creates small distortions in the music which vibrate subtly to the same 7.83Hz frequency. Adding to the overall brainwave entrainment effect and experience.
    How to use this?
    Listening to Alpha frequencies can be very relaxing, so this session would be great for meditation or relaxation, calming etc. It could also be used as background study aid music, as Alpha frequencies have been shown to improve memory.
    If meditating or relaxing to it, find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. You can then either close your eyes, relax and listen to it that way, or just stare at the space travel animation and gradually let your mind drift off into space and explore the galaxy.
    Volume
    Adjust the volume to a level that you feel comfortable with.
    Headphones?
    You do not need headphones for this session.
    Interesting facts about Schumann Resonance
    - Schumann Resonance occurs at 7.83hz and is often referred to as the Earth's pulse.
    - Observations of Schumann resonances have been used to track global lightning activity.
    It is believed the frequency of 7.83hz can be used to explore the lower ionosphere on celestial bodies.
    - It's linked to transient luminous events like sprites, elves and jets.

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  8 лет назад +2

      +rasila88 There is still some differing opinions, as to exactly where the theta and alpha frequency ranges begin and end. Schumann Resonance falls in between this rough border area between the two, which is also referred to as 'Thalpha'. This is why some people refer to it as alpha and others as theta. You can use it for a morning or afternoon meditation, depending on when you have the time and want to use it. One thing I would say is it's probably best not to listen to it too close to bedtime.

    It is believed that low frequency is harmful
    So how suhumman frequency of 7.83 HZ good

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  4 года назад +1

      What you are referring to is a low ‘sounding’ frequency, a low pitched, very deep sound. With isochronic tones, the frequency describes how often the tones cycle/repeat per second. 7.83Hz here means that the tone repeats 7.83 times per second. If you clapped your hands at a consistent rate of 7.83 times per second, that could be measured as 7.83Hz. The pitch frequency on this track is about 180Hz, which isn’t that low or very deep sounding.

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  8 лет назад +3

      +Raffaele Di Sivo I've never seen or used monster beat headphones, but as long as you can hear the tones clearly on them they will be fine. There isn't a correct volume as such, because it depends on the user preference and the equipment they are using. Not too quiet so can't hear the tones, and not too loud that they hurt your ears or become irritating. Somewhere is the middle.

    • @EpicBunty
      @EpicBunty 8 лет назад

      +Jason Lewis - MindAmend if its too loud you risk getting woken up uncomfortably if its too low then you risk falling asleep (which might not be bad depending on what you want)

    how can this help if almost all speakers cant play this frequency?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  8 лет назад +10

      +Dragos pirvu What you are referring to there is the pitch frequency, which measures the sound the beats make. 7.83Hz refers to the beat frequency, which means it's beating at 7.83 times per second. The pitch frequency on this is around 180Hz and well within the range of all speakers. There's more info about this potential confusion here: www.mindamend.com/brainwave-entrainment/how-can-humans-hear-frequencies-below-20hz/.

    • @niknak410
      @niknak410 3 года назад

      @@MindAmend why did you choose to go with 180 hz?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  3 года назад +2

      @@niknak410 180Hz is usually what I consider a mid sounding tone in the common range I use. A starting point if you will. If I'm making a sleep or deep relaxation track I might go down to 140Hz, sometimes 120Hz to make the tones sound deeper. Much lower than that and I often get feedback from people on mobile devices with weak bass speakers, who can't clearly hear the deeper tones. For an energy track I will often build up to a higher pitched sounding tone, 200-300Hz. I find the higher pitched tones cut through more and are better for energising, getting your attention, making you more alert but not so good for relaxing you. When combining with music, I sometimes like to make the tones in the same frequency as the key of the music, to help them blend in and not sound so invasive. Sometimes I deliberately make the tones pitch frequency quite contrasting and clearly different to the key of the music. It depends on what I think might best suit the goal of the track. Sometimes I just experiment to see what reaction I get from different approaches.

  • @visi7891

    i have a question. do you know if these tones work for dogs or cats the same way it does for humans?

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  2 года назад

      I get some positive feedback from dog and cat owners occasionally. However, there's very little research out there on animals using this trechnology. I think that's mainly because it's typically been hard to get cats and dogs to sit still while covered in wires and connected up to an EEG. Hopefully as technology progresses someone will create some kind wireless headsets that work on dogs for testing. They would need to be very adaptable though, due to the difference in dog sizes and head shapes. I think that's what's made it difficult to test stuff like that.

  • @jaydee177

    7.8 Hz is a very low frequency. I hear no such frequency in this video.

    • @YaR0MyR
      @YaR0MyR 4 года назад +1

      7,83Hz=almost 8 beats per second. The pulse is exact and clearly audible. You should not interpret it as sine wave, which at this frequency certainly would not be possible to hear.

  • @theleafyground5793
    @theleafyground5793 8 лет назад +6

    That's not exactly pure if it has other sounds than 7.83hz sine wave. Still very great.

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  8 лет назад +5

      +theleafyground I called it 'pure' 7.83Hz as I'm referring to the isochronic tones session, which beats at 7.83Hz throughout. I have another older Schumann Resonance video where I start with a higher frequency and ramp down to 7.83Hz. So I wanted to point out the distinction between this one and the older video. If you want a track with no music and just a 7.83Hz beat, I have that here: ruclips.net/video/pWTMF_-uhiA/видео.html.

    This is not 7.83hz.
    Placebo. A cell phone speaker cannot generate 7.83hz. Impossible. The frequency is too. Low for the human ear to hear. It must be felt. It requires a sub bass speaker big and strong enough to generate it without burning up the voice coil.

    • @MindAmend
      @MindAmend  Год назад

      That’s a common misunderstanding. What you are referring to is the pitch frequency. With isochronic tones and brainwave entrainment audio, the frequency quoted refers to how often the tone/beat cycles per second. In this case, it repeats at a rate of 7.83 times per second, hence 7.83Hz. From memory, the pitch frequency of the tones on this one is 180Hz. Which is well within the range of normal speakers and human hearing.
