This has really helped to make me understand what to really do to get better, I had been losing tournaments for years but I never really had the time when I wanted to start the grind since i begun in chapter 1 till now. The problem was that I didn't really understand to put my frustrations into words about my problems or understand the words to figure out "Yeah this is what I need to do", but then I found this video which has made me realize what I need to do, thank you.
If the game was as smooth as Creative it would be amazing

Thank you so much for helping me i was sick and was like i wanna try to see why im so bad and i played like all day sadly but realized i died because my shotgun aim 95% of the time like with other guns its good but i think i just need to work on the shotgun aim this season i actually tried to be competitive in fortnite and just the start of chapter 5 season 1 i went from a full on gold player couldn't get out to being the best in the friend group with one season while they played for multiple but i feel like now that i have set myself up and am pretty good i feel like i have to keep on improving with build fight box fight and shotgun aim and yeah

really good advice not just for fortnite but alot of stuff, i feel improvement but im being stopped because of my fps. i keep having micro stutters because i have a hard time running the game which makes me miss my shots and have unstable builds and edits. I wish to buy a better pc.

I honestly started getting better at arena when i stopped trying to "clip" people, doing all the fancy stuff, if you really focus on the gameplay and work on your aim and just "boxfight", nothing fancy, you'll get much more wins

I just want to say that this video is great, but as a player whos skill is more then avg i can safely say that sometimes ranked does not work well, as the meta is bad, and therefore its not as in tournaments, also there is more reasons of doing stuff bad or have to improve, i had a coach, and he told me that i need to play more realistics and boxfights, so therefore creative isnt always bad

Hey by the way I was trying out the 20 ranked games but the problem is I dont want to lose my elite by just w keying, you have any alternatives.
If you ever wanna be good, you can't care about your rank. Ranked is simply a way to improve for tournaments, your rank does not matter, your skill does. And by playing ranked safe your skill won't ever improve, you'll actually waste your time.

Person with a gtx 1060 6gb and i5+8400, soon to be an owner of an rtx 4060 ti and r7 7700x- i've tried everything on my pc, optimizing tf out of it , getting it maintenenced by a computer shop, factory resetting it, you truly can't play competitive on this CPU and gpu combo. I really feel like when i get my new pc next week i'll start improving a lot.
did u get your new pc? i am playing on a 2gb gtx1050 with 16gb ram and an i7-7700 and i fell kind of the same way, i can't get over 100 constant fps in game and have a lot of stuttering even though i've formatted it and optimized as much as possible

hows your pc now? i just upgraded to a 4060 ti and a y7 5800x3d and it was so so so worth it. im pulling like 600-800 fps uncapped in game and a stable 240 that never drops when i cap it. Genuinely feels like a new game

1.died off spawn landing slurpy kid was ontop of me i got 2 of the scoped ars while he got a smg and dropped on me while i was getting loot 92 place
2. got a kill off spawn got suited pushed someone got them to 14 hp and i lost 56 place

I would prolly be washed tho I haven’t played in a minute cause I uninstalled because of ping, it’s a key factor to the game or really any game at this point of time, it makes or breaks the game!

Factory restarted the pc, so new settings 😃
Game 1: Opponent grappled and then mantled on height - maybe box fight if opponent abuses grapple and mantles?
Game 2: Opponent impulses on height my game lags and opponent takes wall and does peanut butter edit - out of control, could’ve edit out and re-box but hard when lag spikes.
Game 3: Opponent brain dead triple edits at me I hold auto shotgun out in same box did 187 damage and lost - aim. I missed a shot with auto shotgun. Which if I hit I win.
Game 4: I’m shooting at one guy and get sniped in the back by third party - Could’ve built behind to block chance of third party?
Game 5: Eliminated off spawn because I ran at a guy with shield camping a right hand peak in a house. - Foolish from me.
Game 6: I lose track of my opponent off spawn and he sprint up the stairs with flowberry and sends me back to lobby - could’ve landed a safer spot instead of hot drop lavish lair. Awareness also.
Duos:
Game 7: Opponent retakes height and runs in my box with auto shotgun. Should’ve played smart.
Game 8: ran out of builds and ran into opponent. I guess awareness
