Majora's Mask Decompilation did happen a couple of weeks after the Recomp. It's under the name 2 Ship 2 Harkinian since the big OoT port is Ship of Harkinian.
It's been very interesting watching how Borderlands went from a well respected gold standard AAA franchise to an annoying relic that long overstayed its joke all because the ones leading it got confused about what appealed to people and doubled down on the exact wrong things.
Veilguard's coverage in Game Informer ended before all this happened. And it was basically a whole lot of nothing, just general impressions that were largely reiterating stuff that had already been written about the game prior (because they seem to really not want to show the game). Still puts a spotlight on how terrible their marketing has been and how easily it can crumble.
F/SN's 3 routes are like 120 hours, all put together. The Fate route is like 20, UBW is like 35, and the other 65 is HF because they combined like 3 different alternate routes into one unbelievably long arc. F/SN doesn't let you choose the route, you play FATE, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel in linear order. You get several minor choices that change relationship values and give alternate scenes or lead to bad ends, but the actual core narrative is built off knowing what happens in the previous route. It's only marginally shorter than an 8 part behemoth like Umineko. UBW alone made a 26 episode anime and HF could just barely squeeze down into 3 feature films after majorly cutting down some secondary characters. It's a biggun.
I’m sorry, Aggro. Dumping a txt file of Fate/Stay Night into an AI and asking it to explain Fate lore to you would be meaningless, because Fate/Stay Night only covers roughly 10% of all the Fate lore that has accumulated over the years. That whole VN barely qualifies as a starter course anymore.
It was less that and more of a case where FUNimation's entire dub of DBZ took the 4 main sagas (Saiyan, Freeza, Cell, Buu) and gave them sub-sagas within the main sagas (I.E. the main Cell saga having the Trunks, Androids, Imperfect and Perfect Cell and Cell Games Sagas), hence why he was saying that "there were stages and progress to tell that story".
One thing from the Skill based Matchmaking that was important that Pat and Woolie discussed was that Skill Level was not the most important factor in matching, it wasnt in the top 5, it was like 7th or something.

I'm not sure what they don't grasp about the Steam Deck playing PC games. The only reason to get a Switch is to play games available on Switch. The Steam Deck plays a lot of Steam Games while on the go. It could always be better, but the appeal seems obvious to me.

I for one am looking forward to Dan streaming all the Nasuverse VNs. Perhaps the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception or the power of Heaven's Feel will be the key to defeating Timer-chan. Also regarding the comment someone in chat seemingly made about the new D2 expansion referencing deleted content, yeah its fucked up because the end of Final Shape is just entirely built on the foundation of all the prior shit, but especially Forsaken and other deleted storylines. It's genuinely fucked up how I can only say Final Shape's story was good because I have full context for who the major characters even are!

Had no idea there's a Inazuma Eleven game like that coming from Level-Five. I don't know much about the franchise, but that's worth a glance. Thank goodness Kris caught Homura Hime. I'm really looking forward to it.
If you're gonna read F/SN, make sure to remember your choices, especially durning your 3rd playthrough. And have a lot of saves. You can easily get into dead ends. Also yes, 3 playthroughs. Fate, then Unlimited Blade Works, then Heaven's Feel. All are canon, unless they're not, but they are. It's the character arcs that matter.
I am forever mad that this story is tied to Borderlands 3 dude, I just want it to be its own thing to not care when someone thrashes Borderlands so bad.
@@qeridexis8604 Borderlands 3 irritates me so much. Its writing is so much worse than Borderlands 1 and 2. Worse than that, the actual plot is absolutely awful. It doesn't wrap anything up at all. Then Randy felt the need to ruin the Tales from the Borderlands story and have no conclusion for Rhys or Fiona.
in regards to to SBMM topic, it also made a huge wave in Destiny to the point where Bungie is changing how SBMM interacts with the Crucible every 6-9 weeks, ever since they introduced it 2ish years ago.
56:56 You mean 2004-2007 on TNN (later Spike TV, now Paramount Network), Kris. (also by the time MXC finished up, G4, after swallowing up TechTV the same year MXC premiered, already started airing Ninja Warrior, which was just a more straightforward translation of Sasuke with inbetween narration from Dave Wittenberg aka Kakashi from Naruto, as opposed to MXC being a re-edit/redubbing of Takeshi's Castle) (no the Sess wasn’t involved with either MXC or Ninja Warrior, plus the only G4 alums involved with Ninja Warrior were all from AOTS, but only in cameos)
Honestly, having rewatched MXC many times over the years it’s not nearly as bad as Dan is remembering. Guy LeDouche is about as close as it gets to what Dan described and even then he’s not a gay stereotype, he’s just a huge pervert with a snooty French accent. It’s actually a pretty left-leaning show and the jokes don’t really come off overly edgy or mean-spirited. It’s just dumb shit.
“Games that shouldn’t exist” Nintendo consoles are the best for this. My contributions would be Dead Rising for the Wii and the DS port of call of duty games
Starfox adventure is my favorite Starfox game. Grew up with it and even revisted it several times. The andross boss battle is the worst part of that game. I know another one will never be made, unfortunately. It also seems they're not making a Starfox game at all so sadness all around Whenever i hear this supposed latency with the quest, i get a little confused because ive never noticed it. I absolutely have a less powerful pc and slower internet, yet wouldn't say there was noticeable latency. Airlink works fine as well. I will wait to hear how that psvr2 situation goes for them before i decide to just get a quest 3
Even if the newest amd cpu aren't impressing, i won't be getting stuck on old motherboards and finding out the new ones are an improvement. PC gaming is on a several year delay to get anything worth upgrading for.
On a slightly more positive note, Limited Run Games shipped my Eve Online 20th anniversary edition and it should be here tomorrow. (Now will it burn my house down? I hope not but that would be a very Eve thing to do)
Ps2 emulation is pretty good. It’s how I first played god hand, mgs2 god of war and SMT nocturne. I think we’re far enough way from 6th gen of gaming that suggesting someone to play on original console is a big ask.
Can someone please make a list of all the things that Kris says should activate stand your ground laws? I think we should make him King of America.

I didn't see this comment until just now (been mostly sleeping since BTD went up cause I'm real sick. One of the few things I did do during this time was try exactly this and it went terribly for some reason! The connection became lower bandwidth and less stable! 🤷♀️
My next test is to see if my PC can use the second ethernet port simultaneously and just connect the WAP to that.
@@GigaBoots interesting. I do wonder if it's as simple as a different wifi card in our motherboards. I did upgrade my PC just a month ago and maybe it came with a better wifi card. I can look mine up if your curious later
It's the character arcs that matter.
in you gotta hand it to 'em news, tales from the borderlands is actually good sorry
Afaik the AMD CPUs just have bad default power targets and they perform as expected when those are changed in the BIOS
in regards to to SBMM topic, it also made a huge wave in Destiny to the point where Bungie is changing how SBMM interacts with the Crucible every 6-9 weeks, ever since they introduced it 2ish years ago.
56:56 You mean 2004-2007 on TNN (later Spike TV, now Paramount Network), Kris.
(also by the time MXC finished up, G4, after swallowing up TechTV the same year MXC premiered, already started airing Ninja Warrior, which was just a more straightforward translation of Sasuke with inbetween narration from Dave Wittenberg aka Kakashi from Naruto, as opposed to MXC being a re-edit/redubbing of Takeshi's Castle)
(no the Sess wasn’t involved with either MXC or Ninja Warrior, plus the only G4 alums involved with Ninja Warrior were all from AOTS, but only in cameos)
AMV Hell MXC clip immediately played in my brain upon mention of takeshi castle.
“Games that shouldn’t exist”
Nintendo consoles are the best for this. My contributions would be Dead Rising for the Wii and the DS port of call of duty games
Starfox adventure is my favorite Starfox game. Grew up with it and even revisted it several times. The andross boss battle is the worst part of that game. I know another one will never be made, unfortunately. It also seems they're not making a Starfox game at all so sadness all around
Whenever i hear this supposed latency with the quest, i get a little confused because ive never noticed it. I absolutely have a less powerful pc and slower internet, yet wouldn't say there was noticeable latency. Airlink works fine as well. I will wait to hear how that psvr2 situation goes for them before i decide to just get a quest 3
the new darksiders thing HAS to be darksiders 4 given that the charred council seem to be pissed at the horsemen...right?
Dan is now one of us, soon he too will acquire Hiatus brain psychosis.
I see Umbrella has branched out into energy drinks.
W101 superfan here, PS5 or PC versions are extremely stable now, do not play the fucking Wii U version.
42:27 playing Fate on a Switch at the gym is obviously worse, and that's why it should be the final goal for the next Donathon!
Even if the newest amd cpu aren't impressing, i won't be getting stuck on old motherboards and finding out the new ones are an improvement. PC gaming is on a several year delay to get anything worth upgrading for.
Where the timestamp guy at?
Maybe they got sick too!
I'm starting now. Gimme seven hours to finish it. :p
Sorry, took eight. : (
I hear ook and I think of the Librarian
On a slightly more positive note, Limited Run Games shipped my Eve Online 20th anniversary edition and it should be here tomorrow. (Now will it burn my house down? I hope not but that would be a very Eve thing to do)
The RUclips comment can never be Emote only
Zehahahahahah 😈
Ps2 emulation is pretty good. It’s how I first played god hand, mgs2 god of war and SMT nocturne. I think we’re far enough way from 6th gen of gaming that suggesting someone to play on original console is a big ask.
1:16:50 The hell are those things above Dan and Kris?
I cant wait for them to watch it and call if the worst thing they ever seen
2:29:07 I keep getting sucker-punched by Cody Rhodes. I'm dying.
