Good video. To be honest, though, I kind of wanted to see a little bit more of the video showing the phone while it was closed rather than open the whole time in tablet mode. I realize that's basically just like seeing a regular phone, but I'm trying to get an idea of how it functions and "feels" while it's closed - especially whether the width(depth) is annoying or not. I want to be able to hold the phone in one hand but not for it to feel too bulky. Thanks!
Well you might wait a little bit longer cause nowadays the foldable screens can easily be scratched by fingernails so......yea... might have real strong foldable glass one day , but not ultra thin glass like zflip
I actually used the spen a lot recently in the note 20 and honestly it's just too fragile and doesn't really add anything to me. Maybe there is a lot of people who would need it but I don't see any use for it.

To anyone complaining about the crease: Do YOU ever PURPOSELY browse the web, watch a video, etc on your glass screen phone or tablet and say to yourself: "Let me make sure I have indoor lighting or outdoor sunlight shining or reflecting DIRECTLY on my screen while I use it."??? If your answer is NO, then the crease won't be visible on the Z Fold 2 under normal usage just like it's not visible on the 1st gen Galaxy Fold or the Z Flip under normal usage.

The laws of physics dictate that a crease is formed when something folds. Feeling the crease doesn't interfere with VIEWING and enjoying content on it. P.s. Bending and folding are two different things. The 2020 Razr's screen bends hence why it has little to no crease at all. It doesn't truly fold like the Galaxy Fold or Huawei Mate X/Xs.

I considered that too but Sept. 1st is beyond the return time for me based on when I received it from Samsung. I'll keep my N20U anyway because I still do love the S-Pen.
I'm just so glad that they're finally utilizing that cover display for when you're using the main camera. That was one of my main complaints with the Galaxy Fold. They used that tiny display on the Z Flip, but couldn't on the Fold, and STILL couldn't on the One UI 2.1 update. I just hope they add it in the One UI 2.5 update. If they do, I'll be one of the first people to report on it.

This is note like situation for samsung when they release it n it's successful. This z series is definitely a success. For sure they are quite ahead of everyone's in foldable smartphones for sure. We are already seeing even old fold as luxury device in music videos.

I like the slim form factor of the Duo but the older/limited specs are a little underwhelming. If this is the only phone that I'd have on me. Camera is meh, battery/batteries are small & we don't yet know if the software will optimize that. I have always wanted a foldable, full screen phone. Now if Duo was a dual boot into Windows & Android then I'd buy it for sure!
This fold 2, cause the duo is not even near this one. 865+ vs 855 snapdragon, 3 good cameras in the back vs a selfie one, 4500 vs 3500 mah, the fold 2 have wireless charging and reverse + NFC and not the duo... there's just too many con's with the duo for the price
I’m torn between the Fold 2 and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I’ve been a lifelong iOS user but I think I’ll be getting the Fold 2 and using android for the first time. iOS and iPhone hardware is really good but this phone is way too cool for me to pass up.
Trevor Tomlinson im getting the fold 2 and I’m a lifelong ios user. If you plan on keeping your current iphone and alternating between them when needed, then that would be good. Still, the only necessary thing you will miss from ios is imessage and facetime haha

Bigger battery, wireless charging, current faster processor, NFC, cameras, dex, plus it's the 2nd version do they worked out some bugs and kinks. The Microsoft duo looks amazing but to many cons it seems at the moment, high hopes for the 2nd version and I'm sure lots of developers and android are working on more "stuff" for dual screens and foldables. It would have been cool to see windows 10 or tweaks current refreshed version of windows mobile with some app of took that allows you to use Android apps lol. Side note. I loved webos and windows mobile. Something different and modern. Lol 😆
The Duo is definitely cool but it's lacking a lot as a result of it being a first gen device. The Duo feels a lot more like an experiment than a product. The Z Fold2 is better suited for day to day use because it's a product that has had more time to mature and develop into something people want to buy.
Duo looks nice and seems to have excellent productivity features. In my case I'm an 1 device person, I don't like having to carry 2 devices with me. Duo's camera is not up to acceptable standard, no NFC, small battery, no front screen - need to open device to see who's calling. There are other features lacking. It's definitely Fold2 for me.

I'm really hoping the camera is pretty good since this is a luxury device, so I'm hoping there could be some demo of its cameras, but you don't have to. I'm just expressing my concerns about the Fold 2's cameras since I'm a beginning photographer that is looking for super high quality shots.
I think you could change resulotion of the screen to lower resulotion to save battery if you use power mode in the quick setting in notification bar.I hope in next update samsung give users control over this setting
Man I really wanted to get this device. I could settle for it not having a headphone jack, but can't handle the lack of expandable memory. One or the other, both of them out ain't going to cut it for me. A 512gb version might bring me back. Let's wait and see.
i heard note 20 ultra is the last note line up as folding device looks promising and fold 2 is successful, from 2021 samsung will continue z fold as samsung 2nd flagship instead of note and s pen will added on z fold and s21 ultra
Seems like it's getting better with the 2nd gen. I'll wait another generation and then probably jump to to the next one so Samsung can tweak some more things that might come up with this gen. For now I'll stick to my S20 Ultra & iPad Pro 2018 12.9

All 3 rear cameras are 12 MP. Sadly phone is limited to 256gb internal storage and non expandable. I'm still getting it.

With the Z Flip, you always have to use it with a crease. With the Z Fold2, you can also use the front display if you want!

I'm really hoping the camera is pretty good since this is a luxury device, so I'm hoping there could be some demo of its cameras, but you don't have to. I'm just expressing my concerns about the Fold 2's cameras since I'm a beginning photographer that is looking for super high quality shots.
I think you could change resulotion of the screen to lower resulotion to save battery if you use power mode in the quick setting in notification bar.I hope in next update samsung give users control over this setting
Man I really wanted to get this device. I could settle for it not having a headphone jack, but can't handle the lack of expandable memory. One or the other, both of them out ain't going to cut it for me. A 512gb version might bring me back. Let's wait and see.

as folding device looks promising and fold 2 is successful, from 2021 samsung will continue z fold as samsung 2nd flagship instead of note and s pen will added on z fold and s21 ultra

Seems like it's getting better with the 2nd gen. I'll wait another generation and then probably jump to to the next one so Samsung can tweak some more things that might come up with this gen.
For now I'll stick to my S20 Ultra & iPad Pro 2018 12.9
