Hi this is my favorite star wars helmet ever and I love the phase 1 design so thank you so much for showing me how to make it 😊
No problemo dude! Its one of my favourites too and you're very welcome. 🙂
@@AshZombola Thank you for replying to me and have a nice day
Awesome
Thanks mate!!!
Very interesting video, nice to see products used that are not exclusive to the US. I hope you're wearing gloves when you're working with that resin. Awesome weathering btw!
Thank you very much Bjorn! Yes the Lechler is the equivalent of Bondo spot and glazing. Spray putty is a bit like high build primer but much better, thicker and with a better finish. I actually 2k high build primer now in my compressor which is solar to spray putty. I do wear gloves :-) All the best buddy and thank you. Ash
That turned out so incredible. Great work man
Thank you very much mate!
Huge supporter as you know bro! Really enjoyed this video. As I do the live workshops on instagram! Always loved that bucket, and it was cool to see the build. 🤘🏻👊🏻🙏🏻🤘🏻
Who is this? ... 😀Thank you as always eternally buddy! 🙂
That’s a pretty cool looking clone helmet you made
Thank you so much dude!
You can mix that glazing putty with acetone, then probably use airbrush or just regularly brush it on a helmet. It's faster and you can get smoother finish.
Hey mate, Yeh Ive actually tried that. I didnt use an airbrush though, just a brush. It 'felt' amazing doing ti and like it was going to work, but I found it just wasn't thick enough to have an impact once it dried. Tried different ratio's too just couldst get a good consistency, thick enough to be workable but thin enough to apply easily.
Freaking awesome, mate! You did an insanely awesome job!
(I think the chipping/cracking of the paint happend because you might have used different brands of spraypaint. I've had that issue before myself.)
Hey Nick thank you so much mate! Yeh it was really weird. Might have been a reaction to the masking tape residue maybe as I'm not sure I cleaned it off. Thanks for your support dude!
Always a good day when Jedha post
Aw bless ya!! Thank you very much for your support buddy, I'm so incredibly grateful :-) Ash
@@jedhaworkshop what color did you use for the yellow it turned out great
@@vanillagorilla6619 Thank you buddy! I can't remember off the top of my head, send me a message on instagram and I'll have a look when im in my workshop.
Hiya. Great video, I really enjoyed watching. Any chance of a link to the visor material? It's such a pita to source.
Thanks very much Nick! Sure you can get them on Amazon, search: P3261-5 Replacement Visor for Parweld P3266 Browguard Shade 5 Polycarbonate
print it in one print next time and in 100% infill for maximum helmet
If you print in one piece you run the risk of a print failure and have to do the whole thing again rather than just 1 part. And printing at 100% infill is insanity and a huge waste of material. 3 walls and 6-8% infill gyroid is the most efficient, equal in strength and about 90% less weight!
What 3d printer are you using?
I started on Creality Ender 3 Max's but I recently switched to Elegoo Neptune series.
