It's aways a pleasure to see Maazel on the podium. He was a wonderful conductor whose work I have enjoyed for a great many years with numerous fine orchestras. I miss him. Thanks so much for sharing these performances.
Thank you for uploading several Maazel’s concerts with NDR in the 1980s. They are all excellent performances. And of course NDR itself has been a first-class ensemble for decades. Hopefully more Maazel’s concerts can be uploaded from NDR’s archives, especially if there are some Mahler symphonies. Thank you.
