Subscribed. I built a 6* Brute 400 in a XS ProjX Black standard length. It’s fun to hit and surprisingly tight when I hit it right! I also cobbled together an old Cobra 427SS 7.5* into a 3W length XS PX Black. It plays long, LOUD, and SUPER forgiving. I love the mad scientist content you have going on. Keep it coming!

Hello, I hear what you are saying about the flex of the shaft but, the real distance killer is the kick point, example regular shaft high kick point will produce less backspin than a stiff or xs shift with a mid or low kick point if you want more control & distance go high kick point less stiffness. Taylor Made bubble shaft is a good example, check out my advice and go long!

Great video...I have about a 118-120 mph swing and I use a stiff flex on an F8 Cobra at 9* --- works really well for me. I dont know if a xstiff would help
I love the testing you do in coming out with different angles but please buy a shaft puller that’s why the Tips break and I use steel extensions is to the graphite the hold up better
just swapped out my 6.5 X shaft to a stiff shaft and dropped it to 8 degree. amazing results and back to a one way miss which is high right. im 130 full speed but at 110 on controlled swings getting 280 carry (shity range balls at see level in the uk). great vid mate

Hi Simon, does anybody make a chart or algorithm on recommended launch/spin/loft based on swing speed and delivered loft?
You need a 2x ust v2 ld shaft if they are still available. They kick like a mule. The fuji live wire shaft may be the most played out on tour.
Definitely think with your skills you could hit anything !
This is setting you up for some crazy trick shot club combination like those noodle shafts or ridiculously long shafts keep it up Simon creat to watch
Simon Iv got a xx ust in my 5 degree Krank but it’s making weird noises so I think it’s on its way out. Can I just stick any old shaft in it? I have a tensi x shaft in my normal driver but have an old stiff graffaloy one in my ping g5

Try older heads? After watching your vids I pulled a old Taylormade burner
Plus head off its shaft and put it on a cheap Slazenger panther stiff graphite shaft. It's a bit hideous with the longer shaft and small head but actually worked ok on the range. Unfortunately the Slazenger head on the Burner old steel shaft broke but was much easier to use with the old shorter steel shaft.

Without a launch monitor giving you instant feedback as much as id love to play around with combos i find it pointless.
