Hey Jasmine, I am an accountant. I have over 70 trucking clients. They range in size from an owner operator of a single truck to an operation with 50 trucks. I enjoy your videos because you do trucking the right way. You understand your obligations and you plan to meet those obligations and still fit down time. I see operators do well and others go belly up. The ones that go belly up usually do not think through what they are getting into. Whether it is buying a new truck or getting a used truck. Each choice has its up side and downside. It is usually instances where the downside is not given enough thought. Given the present situation where revenue is down, it is more important than ever to be aware of your operating costs. I see many operators get frustrated and quit when things do not go as well as they thought it should. Keep up the good work. Keep paying attention to the details and you will be fine.

I did a lease purchase for 2.5yrs with my own authority. Paid the truck off at the end of the lease and I'm still rolling. My payments were $900 a week $3600 monthly. Fuel, fuel taxes, insurance, tags & registration, maintenance, heavy highway tax. I'm totally responsible for everything and I made it. I pick my own loads and I move how I want to move. Trucking ain't for everybody. Especially if you're LAZY. Keep doing you, driver. You are in control of your own destiny. Not some other clown posting videos about you.

I hate when people use that term you are a slave to the truck. If you have a personal vehicle that is financed, you are a slave to that vehicle because you have to go to work to pay for it. What’s the difference?
There is a major difference. Listen if it's working and you're happy and you're making money that's great knock yourself out. But there is a major difference, almost too much to mention in a single paragraph. Is it a scam?? No absolutely not like the girl says everything is up front in print. up to you to decide. My personal opinion is it's a dumb decision because there are far better ways to go around being in the trucking business. From what I see in this girl, if she can get through this lease successfully, and she actually purchases a truck of her own, she's going to be one hell of an owner operator.

I just got out of tnt with Prime my first week i made enough to pay prime back for everything i got from them for the truck like gps chains load locks and you know what stuff im talking about you've been through it now turn around my second week on the road ive done 4 loads gross 6,980 to my truck and walking away with well over 4,400 for the week after truck payment gas an everything not all weeks gonna be good but you will have great weeks learn how to save for when you break down or have down time its teaching you how to run a business. I watched that video. Idk a lot about lease purchases, I’ve always purchased my own truck, but these guys get involved in a jacked up lease and then throw that experience on every lease. And i believe the dude said he had 10yrs experience and I’m sorry but even at 10yrs to me you’re still learning trucking. I have 30yrs and I’m not even an expert, but know who your lease company is before just jumping in. There’s always red flags if you choose to see them. I think you’re doing a hell of a job for the experience you have and you’re right, it’s your path, and you obviously know your path, so keep doing it how you’re doing it. I think sometimes ppl want to throw their bad decisions on others to make them feel less doop’d. Idk just my thoughts.

I hate when people use that term you are a slave to the truck. If you have a personal vehicle that is financed, you are a slave to that vehicle because you have to go to work to pay for it. What’s the difference?
There is a major difference. Listen if it's working and you're happy and you're making money that's great knock yourself out. But there is a major difference, almost too much to mention in a single paragraph. Is it a scam?? No absolutely not like the girl says everything is up front in print. up to you to decide. My personal opinion is it's a dumb decision because there are far better ways to go around being in the trucking business. From what I see in this girl, if she can get through this lease successfully, and she actually purchases a truck of her own, she's going to be one hell of an owner operator.

I just got out of tnt with Prime my first week i made enough to pay prime back for everything i got from them for the truck like gps chains load locks and you know what stuff im talking about you've been through it now turn around my second week on the road ive done 4 loads gross 6,980 to my truck and walking away with well over 4,400 for the week after truck payment gas an everything not all weeks gonna be good but you will have great weeks learn how to save for when you break down or have down time its teaching you how to run a business. Shoutout to you another Prime driver

I watched that video. Idk a lot about lease purchases, I’ve always purchased my own truck, but these guys get involved in a jacked up lease and then throw that experience on every lease. And i believe the dude said he had 10yrs experience and I’m sorry but even at 10yrs to me you’re still learning trucking. I have 30yrs and I’m not even an expert, but know who your lease company is before just jumping in. There’s always red flags if you choose to see them. I think you’re doing a hell of a job for the experience you have and you’re right, it’s your path, and you obviously know your path, so keep doing it how you’re doing it. I think sometimes ppl want to throw their bad decisions on others to make them feel less doop’d. Idk just my thoughts.
