Everlast makes excellent machines, I have 3 of their various products. Other companies have nothing on them, I've been a welder, fabricator for decades, I've used all makes, I'm sold on Everlast.
I'll echo the part about keeping water and foreign stuff out of the air. You will, with more practice, be able to remove flash easier than using a grinder. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Josie, and, of course, Dollar.
Great support, are you kidding me. That may be a joke. They are horrible with customer support and warranty. Shipped them a new unit and got a totally different machine back. I engraved all my panels before I shipped. What a joke
That looks like it has plenty of current (amps) and will serve you well. Long time plasma man here. CNC and hand. 20' stinger hose in leather. Consider covering the hose on the stinger hose - prevents burns on hot metal or plasma. Remember plasma dust is dangerous. PLS wear mask. If you filter the air for dust and water the tip will last longer. I'm sure it mentions. Take care and nice demo. Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to you and all friends.
Glad you like it. Plasma torches are really good for what you do. With a little practice you will get the speed down pat and not leave all that slag at the bottom of the cuts and be cutting the vents off too.
We have a plasma cutter, a Hypertherm 80, but ours is attached to a 5’x10’ table. Of course, you can remove the automated head, and use it manually like you are doing. All of our plate is cut out with the plasma cutter, and if there are lots of slots or holes for bolts, they are cut out as well. We don’t have the capability to cast iron, but, if I had infinite time, maybe I would take a class.
With some practice you can get surgical with it. Probably would be a benefit to use a chipping hammer before the cut to get the crust off first. Merry Christmas and have a happy new year.
The lock on/lock off feature is to do with the trigger on the nozzle, When you lock it on you pull the trigger and the gun stays operating until you pull the trigger again. Lock off the gun only works while you have the trigger pulled. Stay away from lock on.
Merry Christmas! Eliminates grinding dust and the risk of a disc breaking at you. May be a stupid question but is there a difference in pulling into a cut or pushing into a cut?
When you pull into a cut the sparks and slag tend to go away from you and the plasma arc tends to stay somewhat obscured from your vision. However if you push into a cut the sparks are slag tends to blow back at you and the plasma arc becomes much more visible all of witch can be very distracting when using it as well as raising the risk of getting trash into eyes or blowing slag other places on your body that you don’t want burned etc as well as flashing your eyes with very intense bright uv light that if your eyes are exposed to it unprotected will cause you eyes to burn, itch, become very dry feeling, and coated with sand and generally make you miserable for a couple a few days. Additionally when pushing into your work it is much harder to make precision cuts because of the arc flash and sparks obscuring your cutting path. PS getting flashed by a Plasma Touch is in my personal experience much worse than getting flashed by a MIG welder or Stick welder, again that is my personal opinion. Additionally I wear the same lens or darker that I use when when TIG welding as I do when running a Plasma Touch
Looks like 3/4” to me. Question is who cares if it cuts. The question is how long will it last. Had 4 machines fail on me. My 10 year old thermal dynamics hasn’t skipped a beat that runs a plasma table 3 hours a day. Top it off with everlasts horrible customer service and even worse warranty and you’ll be out of business
I've had a plasma cutter for 25 years, Keep the water out of the airline and it will last for years. Merry Christmas Clark & Keep Smilin
Glad that worked out for you!!!!! Have a Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!

Definitely a game changer for you Clark. Merry Christmas y'all.
Merry Christmas Clark, Josie & Dollar!
Your Plasma cutter should be a great addition to your shop! Congratulations!🌲

I am as excided as $ is. 🎄. Merry Christmas.
Happy New Year. I think you will use that plasma cutter more than the grinding cutter. Great investment, saving you so much time. 😊
I have the same unit and it works great manually and on my plasma table. Everlast has great support.

Merry Christmas Clark, Josie, and Dollar. Try to celebrate safely Dollar, grin....

Like the plasma thanks for sharing Clark

Work smarter not harder.👍This should increase your productivity.
Merry Christmas!!!
Hey Guys, you know what that means, Clarke now has a working air compressor. Congratulations Clarke!
MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Merry Christmas to you and all your family and a happy and prosperous new year.
That looks like the way to get it done Clarke! Would like to wish y’all a very Merry Christmas!

On my plasma cutter I typically just run it at max amps then I just pull my torch speed faster to match the cut. I rarely get any dross that way.
WOW - works really well. Warmest Holiday wishes for you and your family.
Nice tooling upgrade for the shop 👍👍
Merry Christmas Clark and Family !!
Merry Christmas Clark!

Merry Christmas mate

Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you and your family 😅

Lock on = light saber 😀

Be advised pac's have very high open circuit voltage, which means touching the hot end and pulling the trigger could mean death
Oh, by the way, Merry Christmas.
sounds like a kid in a candy shop!
Are you casting Tally Ho's capstan from bronze or cast iron...?
CEE ENGINEERING USE3S A ARC WELDER AND BLOW NOZZLE TO DO THE SAME THING BUT A CLEANER CUT.***DR KEL
Carbon Arc with air to blow the molten metal away.
My carbon arc air torch does not cut better than my plasma cutter. I can gouge much better with my air arc though.
More accurate, faster, and no rotating bitey bits.. Where is the fun in that??
That’s got to make life better
Less cutting wheels 😂
