Dino Crisis is a survival horror and action-adventure video game series created by Shinji Mikami and developed and published by Capcom. The plot focuses on recurring outbreaks of deadly dinosaurs in closed environments, such as a laboratory on an island. The series also includes comic books and merchandise.
Developer Note:
This project is purely inspired by the original 1999 game, but it does not represent a full-remake. I'm a big fan of the first Dino Crisis game, I tried to convey all the atmosphere and horror of the original in a modernized fashion!
I hope you like it. As a solo-developer it's difficult to do something really noteworthy, but this small/big work makes me somehow proud of how far I've come with personal progress in video game development. It is an important milestone for me that I want to share with you with this award, which is made for the fans, but above all as a personal demonstration.
You can do anything you want when there is passion at the base.

The game graphics looks like a combination of 1990 game with a 2020 game, "I tried to convey all the atmosphere and horror of the original in a modernized fashion!" and he indeed did great job with that.
Nothing is wrong with the graphics style and gameplay considering the fact that a solo developer was behind it but the game has huge post processing issues, especially with AA. If Capcom really managing this game rn they should fix the post processing effects and it wont give many people including me motion sickness so we can enjoy the game in depth.
I guess one bright side to finding a dead body in this game. Is you don't have to worry about it getting back up, and trying to kill you.

I'm staring to believe there is gonna be a Dino Crisis remake because every time you see projects like this it end up happening later They did the same thing to Resident Evil 2 back in 2011 and 2012 People was doing projects especially college students They were doing projects just like this for remakes Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 and they did a Resident Evil 4 Remake project back Then Here's my theory is capcom given these These college kids a green light to do side projects for this upcoming remake or showing us there is a remake coming up sooner

I think all Dino crisis fans should remake the series en masse to see it trending and maybe, just maybe Capcom will finally give us the remake we finally deserve. Solid work on what you made I’m so glad to see someone who is passionate about game development.🥰
A couple continuity errors but overall excellent job, did Regina justice.

My only complaint about this is Regina's voice.
Other than that, I would definitely still play
10:02 I love since this part's starting where Regina uses that light stick. It's something I never see in original DC games back then. It adds satisfying details for this remake.

Я бы поставил 3,5-4 из 5, без обид. Конечно, много чего не хватает. Понятно, что требуется много доработок. Для начала не плохо, хороший набросок-концепт: есть интрига, атмосфера жуткая и таинственная. Отступление от оригинальной картинки не отталкивает. Удачи в дальнейшем!
