I can't break the medley down into its individual parts: therefore - 10. Her Majesty, 9. Octopus's Garden, 8. Because, 7. Something, 6. Maxwell's Silver Hammer, 5. Here comes the Sun, 4. I want you (she's so heavy), 3. Oh! Darling, 2. Come together, 1. The Medley It's not, that I would skip a single track. The aesthetic of Abbey Road is unique throughout. Her Majesty somehow falls out of the ranking-category as a "hidden track" and Octopus is a Ring-o-long for children and made its way to Sesame Street. Something is a bit lame, despite the wonderful arrangement and Harrison's beautiful guitar flourishes, Maxwell is kind of funny.
You obviously are partial to John and George... Otherwise you can't have 9 songs before Oh, Darling or 7 before Golden Slumbers. And your rating of YNGMYM or She Came In Through The Bathroom Window is outrageous, in my opinion of course.

Excuse me but... Paul has better songs than John. Like... Come Together is great and all, but it is not amazing (imo). Many Paul songs are like 10x catchier and even have better lyrics than John songs (I Want You has catchy lyrics but... they are very basic). @@washen_coast

To be sure, Something has been on the radio ever since it was released, but it's such a masterpiece, including Paul's bass playing and George Martin's production, that I never get tired of it. The medley is one of the greatest moments in music history. As for best Beatle albums, Abbey Road certainly does rank up there with Hard Day's Night, Revolver, and the singles Paperback Writer/Rain, Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane + the Magical Mystery Tour EP and Hey Bulldog. I think Sgt. Pepper's is overrated, except for the theme song and A Day In The Life, while the White Album is a mixed bag, though it does also have some of their greatest songs, Dear Prudence, Martha My Dear, While My Guitar Gently Weeps stand out the most in my mind, and there are many others, we all have our own favorites.
