We solved a similar problem by using audiences but instead of making two reports, one for managers and one for the general audience, we built a report that had everything in it and then pinned the elements that the general audience was supposed to see to a dashboard and put that dashboard in the second Audience. That got us around the problem with synchronizing two versions of each visual. This is much more dynamic though!
That's a really cool way, nice one! Dashboards can sometimes feel restrictive because you lose some of the interactivity when you just pin elements, but sounds like a really nice way to solve the problem too
I was thinking about doing the same, I am currently managing one semantic model with everything and then making a copy where the copy has the elements required for non-management audience. As you can imagine if a change is required I am then deleting the previous copy and replacing it. Does anyone know if MS is working on a solution where you select specific report page(s) from a semantic and choose which report page can be viewed by audience in the app? So one model and you pick and choose which report page the audience in the app can view. Either way I am definitely looking the solution provided by Power BI Park, thank you!!
@@AussieAlka unfortunately, tab based security doesn't exist. However, if you don't have super strict security requirements, check out GIAC's page-level security video : it's not perfect, but it works for some people
Me costo la parte del grafico, me salía arriba. Pero valide en callout estuviera en top y el divider que se mostrara y estuviese transparente e irlo moviendo. Logrado!!! Super tus videos.
You definitely need DAX, but this video might help - it explains things more clearly for this kind of card: ruclips.net/video/ZFZmqdECBMs/видео.htmlsi=kZiCIj2FjevJTt_P

@@PowerBIPark It was definitely not ideal but it got the job done in a pinch.

Very insightful! Can this be done using the user interface as I'm not familiar with DAX

This is noted. Thanks for sharing the link.
This is beautiful but what our organization does not allowed external tool to use in power Bi ?
Bravo is just for making the date table:) you can use any other method for the date table, and it would be fine
thank you
