About the male refractory period - you mention orgasm without ejaculation. There can also be ejaculation without orgasm, and I've found that this enables multiple ejaculations in a short time interval. I can vouch for them being multiple and not continuations of a single ejaculation by urinating a little between them. All this is not something I could do in my 20's or 30's, but can in my 50's, 60's, and 70's. And at my current age (76), it isn't accompanied by an erection, or at least, not a full one. And when I say "without orgasm," I mean that while it is greatly pleasurable, it isn't the explosive pleasure that occurs with orgasm. And once I do orgasm, the usual, much longer, refractory period sets in, so there is a distinct difference. Do you have any thoughts or other reports or data about this phenomenon? Fred

If it comes back with a high number then she said that they would then do a biopsy on my prostate and that they hurt and are very uncomfortable. So therefore I've never had a PSA done. She does an oral exam on my prostate and says that all is good. What's your opinion on having a PSA. done? I always love watching your videos. Keep up the great work.

Sooooo they were supposed to get my consent before doing those pelvic exams? Now that my longtime OBGYN retired, I don’t have a single doctor or medical provider that I trust.
Regarding refractory periods for men, I am 47yrs old and usually go twice without any refractory time after my first orgasm (I don't ejaculate the first time) but need an hour after the second orgasm. My partner can usually last longer than me for the first orgasm (not all the time, about 60% of the time) but she always comes more times before I get to my second time. I think all a man needs to do is to learn how to strengthen his pelvic muscles to stop ejaculation that way there is no refractory time, you stay hard.
At almost 40 y.o., as long I sleep regularly, I often don’t need a refractory period. Guys: eat animal protein, head to toe, limit alcohol and other toxins and do some resistance training. For some limiting plant protein is also important. I eat some carbs with every meal. I’m nothing special and it’s not even rare to have older guys not needed if a refractory period most of the time.
If you do see blood in the sperm it could also be from hypertension. I had that issue and had my BP checked. It was high. Now that it's been lowered I no longer haven't seen blood in my sperm for over a year now

If my partner is particularly engaging and attractive, stimulation is so high that I've been able to finish twice in less than five minutes. And this is at the age of 59. I have always been a little different in that I've never automatically lost my erection after orgasm, so my refractory periods have always been different from what it describes in the textbooks.
Cabergoline rocks! I take that stuff for restless leg syndrome and pituitary issues. Thankfully I'm on less than 1mg per day, and I haven't had any heart valve issues during the 15 years I've been on it.
Both reasons for refractory so dumb, if my body is exhausted I'm exhausted don't need refractory too...also how does even more load cancel out the previous load?? It's the complete opposite... Neither reasons makes any sense. Only thing I can think of is it's a survival mechanism so we don't mate to the point of starvation, etc... (I know I would if I could😅)
