My friend slipped when we were playing outside and broke his arm in 3 places and shattered his elbow he had to have emergency surgery that day but the teacher told him to use a wet paper towel before he got reception to call his mum
I tore the ligenment in my foot in primary school (wasn’t at school it was walking to school) ended up going home and to the doctors that day the next day my teacher forced me to do PE because she said if I tore a ligament I would be on crutches.. I was 7 💀
I was just telling my daughter today about PE in high school where they make you stand on a field freezing your arse off while the teachers are in massive puffy coats having a natter.
I had my wrist fractured when I was a child. On the X-ray, you could only see a faint line but I could feel it 'clicking!' They had two pairs of nurses pulling at it to make set it right again. And that was for such a simple fracture. I did receive local anesthesis, delivered by the most comically large syringe needle a child could imagine.

I said "My arm is broken" and the gym teacher told me it was not! 😂 She knew, she just thought she could keep me calm by telling a lie, I suppose. She dismissed the class, then held my arm in the car while the principal drove me to the hospital. Probably should have had an ambulance, in retrospect. It was a bad break.
A kid literally fell down and broke a tooth and all the coach did was pull up in his like golf cart, help him up, give him some Guase and tell him to finish the run 😭
Okay, but just so everyone knows... if it's actually a broken leg/ankle. Do NOT move it. Stabilise the leg and call an ambulance. The amount of internal damage you can do by moving it...
