Good fishing. I’ve always used bait like shrimp but never artificial bait. Are you using some form of gulp?

Yeah mostly Berkley Gulp Sandworms. I have a few other artificial baits I picked up at Coyote Bait & Tackle. Thanks for watching!

Thanks! Yeah I had the camo and the red and both were hitting so stuck with them the whole time. I had some Crappie Sliders and Lucky 13's but didn't use them.

I could have just fished from the entrance. Sometimes I like walking far and then working my way back. Or scout around. But I just had a feeling there was more action further up.

Hey bud I'm going to be in monterey bay on 1st week of April. Thinking of bringing some fishing gears. If you don't mind can you share some general areas I can fish? No specific spots, just somewhere I can get my lines wet and hopefully get the kids to reel in a few fish 👍🤙🤙🤙

The beach stretches pretty long so anywhere from around Seaside State Beach/Marina State Beach all the way up to Santa Cruz. The State beaches have good access.

Yeah, usually. Slow retrieve depending on the bait. Sometimes I'll let it sit. Or keep reeling it in to keep up with the stronger waves as it brings in the line.
