“‘As much as you want to be, you’re not a machine”. Such a great point!
The one dislike is from Conrad Fischer
Could not agree more with the third one. It's toxic the attitude that some medical doctors have with this journey
What tips do you have for students who will be taking the step 1 next year when it will be pass/fail? It would be great to see some videos of your POV on this!
Yes! More USMLE content pleaseee
Great material !
Am so so Happy and grateful I finally passed my USMLE exam 🎉🎉 with the help of the channel and Mr Carlos. I wanna say a big thanks to the channel admin for accepting me into the channel. Never give up you will also passed your exam with the help of the channel and Mr Carlos
You're great. Your videos motivate me even though when it's not always about lessons. Thanks, they help me a lot when I am depressed or distracted.
Hi Santiago! Can you please share with us a little more about how the “USMLE script” is for each subject? In order to have a more effective approach when studying
Hey Santiago thank you for these incredible videos man. I'm preparing for STEP at the moment and watching your videos feels like having a friend guiding me through the monster that is step prep haha
Good stuff !
The last advice was the best! Very wise :)
You are absolutely correct !
Thank you, it is totally true! but we usually learn this very late
Much needed. Thank you so much 🙌🏻
Insightful as always!!
Gracias Santi, ya acabé con mi Step 1, tus videos me ayudaron un montón! Y puedo confirmar la tercera lección hahaha
Congrats !
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This means A LOT!!!
Great advice, thank you 🙏
Thanks for sharing!! Conrad Fischer is being sarcastic he doesn't mean that. I had a friend who took him for classes in Med School in NY where he teaches at in College. He says a lot of things for laughs and shock value that is his style of teaching and how to get the students attention.
Gosh, this is the only USMLE video that actually makes sense.
Completely agree with u brother, tnx a lot!
dude i do like you ,GL in whatever you are doing now
I totally agree with all what you said bro 👍🏻❤️
Gracias Dr , muy buenos consejos 👌
Bendiciones
Hey man, i love your videos. Could you please share your tips on learning microbiology and pharmacology for the USMLE STEP 1 exam? Would be super appreciated.
Hey I’m a third year Indian IMG..your videos are amazing🤩✌🏻
Also under the resources which you have mentioned, how do we look up for review articles in particular??
Or should we just google search depending upon the case report we need??
Good analysis Santiago! Which are the 4 substances u think are most HY out of all substance abuse disorders ?
You are a great motivator Santiago👍. What is the minimum number of questions answered correctly to get a safe score in step 1?
what qbank is best to use during the consolidation phase when you are solidifying your concepts. I want to make sure I am actually learning the concepts right, so I need to know what qbank to use during that before I go to uworld and nbme? or should i start uworld very early on? would love your opinion on it, thanks.
What resource is better for immunology and pharmacology during consolidation phase? Like i know i lack in these 2 subjects. Should i use bnb or kaplan?
Hi Santiago, just found this channel and it's really helpful , yet the question is after next year reform of Step 1 into PASS/FAIL, to what extent will that influence the matching process? really looking forward to your insight~~much obliged
Stop it Santiago you scored the highest and you say I wish?lol thank you that’s really helpful video for us who are still struggling 😩I love how you mix your videos intertwining and so helpful 🙏
Fantastic. Your vdoz are always awesome!!!
Hey there, tried to reach you on insta but it's off. Anyways, I have 6 months left for step 1. Issue is that I haven't really paid attention in the first couple years of my med school. So my basics are really weak. What should be my approach to get 250+ score in step 1? Would be extremely grateful if you could spare a few minutes of your time.
Hey Santiago, what's your take on pre-made decks?
Hi do you think that for someone who wants to start preparing for step 1 during medschool doesn’t have to use first aid ? And which resources should he use ?
Love this video ❤️
Your tips were really useful 👌🏻👌🏻
Please make more USMLE videos
Can you make a video showing what kind of flashcards you made?
Craack, thanks! :)
Santiago last 1 min excellent bro...I love your thoughts
Hey santiago what are your thoughts about taking usmle step 1 in the final year of med school
Hi santiago….your videos are really helpful, it literally changed my way of approach to questions. can u please share a video on how to solve a Question and read an explanation in uworld.
Thank you
Bro you are a hero
Santiago AQ can you make a video on a USMLE TIME TABLE SCHEDULE
Hi
It'll be of great help if u could tell.when to start with registration process for IMG students for usmle
Can you plz tell me from where I get the high yield topics list
Great👏. In case you wanna know, you are inspiring me
USMLE king 🙌🏼 thank you
Dear Santiago i beg you, What are those 4 substances ?
Does somebody know if my ECFMG ID can expire in a certain period of time or something like that? I am asking this because i want to get my ECFMG ID this year, but i'm going to do the Step 1 in 3 years and I don't want to lose the money of the ID in case it has an expiration date.
Hey sr hope u r doing well
Wanna ask about how a fourth year med student is going to nail usmle step 1 while she is already studing and focusing on med school
I mean how she could start prep and what would be the strategies to start it ..???
Great video !!!!! As always ! Agree jaja
de donde eres? mucho exito hermano!
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤️
I have 6 moths to do my USMLE step 1 exam...are they enough ?
Can you make a video describing USMLE
It's eligibility criteria, fees for exam, syllabus
Etc. As you are not from USA as well
U can make us understand better 😊😃
Awesome
Hi Santiago, hope you are doing well! Could you please do a all high yield topics in first aid for USMLE Step 1 exam video, which are recurrent and almost asked all time in the exam.
He already has a video on this. Look it up om his channel.
@@Indigoeagle21 Alrighty, thanks!
But the thing is you have to go through the mistakes to learn these 3 things.....
How do I become a machine
Everyone knows how to study, but what to study is the most issues. If you could help with what to learn, make videos on what to read. It will be helpful.
Ya cogiste STEP3 ?
So how do we find out what's definitively in the "script"?
In my experience, the question banks (UW and AMBOSS in particular) are a great reflection of the script. The NBMEs are also great snippets of the script
@@SantiagoAQ so like you talked about in an earlier video about studying out of the question banks is essentially studying the script as opposed to listening to hours of lectures right?
it really is a totally different beast where we should work backwards from the questions...
Exactly, if you think about it, is almost as if we have the outline of the exam already available for us. Sure, it won’t be the exact copy of the real deal, but damn it gets close.
@@SantiagoAQ If I’m just starting to study, would yo recommend starting to use UWorld simultaneously immediately?
It really depends on how much time you have. If you’re in your last 3-6 months I would start UWORLD right away. If you’re more then 6 months away building up your knowledge from other qbanks would greatly help to start UW and absorb the tiny details
Take a shot each time Santiago says balls to the walls
😂
The question I have for you is how much is too much? For everything.
Don't tell me how to study. Tell me why are you so cute Santiago? How? Why? 🙂
You don't need to study. Just show your face in the interview and boom you are in!
God I find him so cute !
Does anyone here see similarities between Santiago’s point that students who score the best on the USMLE do not necessarily know the most (but have good strategies) information and the way Organic Chemistry classes are set up? For example, reading an Organic Chemistry textbook doesn’t translate the best to practice problems.
I totally disagree .
