As a Celtics fan, finally seeing this team be clutch is deadly. This team has expirience in big games. Tatum, Brown, White, and Horford were in the finals just 2 years ago, and Jrue was a big piece in Milwaukees run in 22. Today's win showed how this team has matured, even since the very first game of the season against the Knicks. Banner 18 is 5 wins away...

As a fellow Celtics fan, we are very VERY fortunate that we figured out how to win in the clutch because we struggled with that a bit during the regular season. We have to be better obviously, but clutch wins in the playoffs are far more exciting than blowing out the Pistons or something. And a 3-0 lead with 2 INSANE wins in a series where if we werent clutch in 2 of the games, we'd be down 1-2. But at the end of the day, we are five wins away from 18 🍀

Why are some people in this comment section treating the Celtics like nobodies? They won 64 games during the regular season and are the #1 seed in the East.
They beat the Heat 4 games to 1. They beat the Cavs 4 games to 1. Why did people think this series would be any different from the first two rounds?
Nephews who discount the regular season then struggle in the play-in tournament and get their stars injured playing extra games.
Because Pacer's fans won two series against injured teams and it inflated their egos. Them making it to the conference finals might as well be a ring in their eyes with how that franchise has been since Reggie.

that's the celtics game plan. they can all hit an open 3 so you can't sag off anybody. everything he hit was open 3s so no surprise at all. i guess the pacers just chose to double off horford as their defensive game plan and he made them pay.

The Pacers have a very good future if they keep this core intact, win or lose. Their main star have been out because of injuries but they did battle against a Celtics (without Porzingis) and had a good series.

It’s so nice to see the Celtics perform like this down the stretch, usually during clutch time they’d be making stupid plays, having miscommunication, stupid turnovers, and bricking but here even though the Pacers were up they just kept playing great. Shows how much they have matured, last year Celtics would have probably just given up.

i would say they just cooled off their ridiculous shooting in the middle of the game. cuz i seriously doubt nembhard and mcconnell are that good. how they closed the game is probably more representative of the gap between the teams. Cs stick to the game plan while the pacers need ridiculous heatcheck nights just to lose a close one.

I don't think Tatum receives enough credit for his passing! He made several behind the back passes that turned into valuable 3 point shots, like from those that Horford made. Had Hauser been shooting the way he normally does, we would've run away with it.
Hauser has been shooting like crap all post season man. I think we need to let him go soon because his legit only job is to shoot the three well. If he isn’t doing that he does nothing for us.
