    Hey friends! It's been a while. I've had a lot going on behind the scenes that you probably don't care too much about, but I'm finally in a place to consistently work on putting quality content on here for you again!
    Hope you enjoy the video, and if there's anything you want to see in the future let me know in the comments! 🫡

    This video reminds me of any time I walk into a new gym with different machines. You’re like a kid in a candy store wondering how this machine will feel, what angles you’ll use, how you’ll load it, the list goes on and on. This is what training is all about. Making you engage and think
    Great video!!!

    love how you pointed out at 7:43 the fact that the loaded stretch is better for gains (which is scientifically proven) without sounding pretentious and/or make it feel like you know better than others... Facts said with respect will forever be superior than facts said in a rude way, even if you are saying the same thing in both

      How is it scientifically proven!!?? dont get me wrong... i want it to be, but isn't there like ONE study on calfs or something like that? how has it been demonstrated for back????

      From my short weight lifting experience so far, I like to adhere to scientific stuff. But I've also watched/talked to people who got most of their gains off methods that personally fit them best.

    Pretty crazy to see how our individual structure determines how "good" or "bad" a machine feels. For example, I'm pretty certain that the paramount pushdown didn't feel too great for you because the handles were too wide for your elbows to line up with the machine's axis of rotation. However, it wasn't an issue at all for Brian.

    Great video! .... Bring back the hair bro. As someone who had long hair and can no longer justify it (thinning... age....) I'm jealous and you need to HOLD ONTO THAT AS LONG AS YOU CAN!!!
    On a serious note, dope video. Love seeing some of these unique pieces and explanations as to the nuance why it helps.

    No but actually though serious question how does moving your feet to the upper placement differ from the horizontal one? Or is it taken into account as the entire machine? Like the ‘just’ horizontal row by itself. Then the transformer one allows for the higher row, lower feet position and the higher row higher feet same as a normal horizontal row.
    TLDR is the higher row angle WITH the higher feet position the same as the flat/horizontal row?

    Your gym looks awesome. My first structured workout was Nautilus-based. Eugene, you may want to hunt used books online for one of the old Nautius books. Darden had some good ones when he worked for Nautilus industries (before he started writing glorified comic books promising 30 pounds of muscle in 30 days). The old Nautilus books had detailed instructions. One cleverly titled example is "The Nautilus Book" by Ellington Darden and published by Contemporary Books in 1988. It details Nautilus training philosophy, which Mentzer more or less lifted, and how the cams work, as well as details about using the machines.

    • @JorgeGonzalez-sx7fk
      @JorgeGonzalez-sx7fk 10 месяцев назад

      @@jajahaha5451you do not need more than 10 sets per week to achieve muscle growth. 1 set to failure will stimulate growth for ~29 hours with diminishing ROI per every additional set performed. low volume per session enables high frequency, higher volume per session enables lower frequency. bro splits work just fine because they utilize high per session volume and low frequency
