      On that laptop it is e sata 2 ... Maximum read/write speed for SATA 2.0 HDD with 3.0Gb/s and SATA 3.0 HDD with 6.0Gb/s ...

    can't find that kind of cable anywhere.. Does it have any special name? I would use it to connect an external drive to my Blu player. Thanks!

      Microcenter usually has these around. If not, I would personally buy it off of Amazon. EBay whatever you prefer they should all work. So I simply typed in eSATA to USB and as I looked at the thumbnails I looked at the one that included the power clicked it and was going to go. Here's the link that I ended up on in Amazon. But if you don't like clicking links which I'm that way, give it a try on simply Googling "eSATA / IDE to USB adapter".
